Code Geass R2, Episode 23- Schneizel's Mask

A much better episode than last week, primarily because I was expecting a long emo-fest but that didn’t materialize. Plus we get lots of stuff blowing up, a higher level of animation quality, and the start of the final boss fight. One bad part though, and I’m sure Crusader will have plenty of rage over it…

I’m rather tired of seeing Nunally being constantly thrown around as a plot device, she just keeps coming back and back and back throughout this season especially. Thus, I was initially afraid that this was going to turn into some mushfest like episode 7 was. Nunally has just become uninteresting, and I would have preferred that she stayed dead because Lelouch was no longer held back from accomplishing his goals. At least he brought back his primo acting skills and said some nasty stuff to her.

This also didn’t make much sense, I really don’t understand Nunally’s character. She has had such little character development in this series that this just comes out of nowhere. Alright, she wants everyone to be happy and have peace and be in the Nippon-whatever zone, but now she’s cool with nuking millions? To be honest I really want her to die by the end of this, as horrible as that may sound.

Much less suggestive BL themes this week thankfully, and I’m also glad that Suzaku doesn’t really give a shit about Lelouch’s feelings anymore. If he was all BFF with him again after all they have been through it would be even less believable that they are working together than it already is.

Continuing from last week’s super villainization of Schneizel he is now an official loli manipulator. It should shock me, but it really doesn’t considering the direction that they have taken with his character and the naiveté of Nunally. At least Cornelia is pretty disgusted over it, although really, she should have seen this coming from a long way away. Ani’ue rabu rabu tended to blind her it seems.

Now this was hilarious, basically Schneizel says well, we can’t stop people from fighting no matter what so fuck it, let’s kill them all and threaten the survivors. About as purely an evil plan as the writers could cook up, and quite humorous. Not to burst your bubble too much Schneizel, but autocratic regimes based on rule by fear tend to be short-lived, often involving the execution of said autocrat.

Getting a little Gundam 00 up in here

I really don’t see how Diethard gets elevated into Schneizel’s inner circle so easily, as he never seemed to really do anything amazing to warrant that kind of treatment. He’s still nuts, but no longer such a lulz worthy character. Instead, only a headshake of pity is warranted. This fellow is definitely marked for death before this show is over.

Oh lordy, definitely the most FABULOUS moment of the episode. The man snaps his fingers and machine gun turrets come out in his CIC. I mean seriously, did he specifically ask for something like that to be designed in? And does it respond to finger snaps like the clapper or something?

What a rather lame way for such a character to go out. She just ends up suffering the “Season 1 Primary Character Syndrome” where the important characters back then get little screen time or development now. I was expecting her to go out in a battle at least, and instead I found this to be rather anti-climactic. Now I tease Crusader all the time about Cornelia, and I’m a fan of cutting out cast members, but I don’t like how this was done.

Yes! Supameido has returned! I loved this scene between Sayoko and Orange-kun, affirming their storms of loyalty and paths of the knight. It’s good to see at least some people retain their loyalties in all of this seeing as how everyone else has switched sides at least once. A Sayoko x Orange-kun end would be so ridiculously awesome.

I’ll engage in a bit of serious business mode here and recognize the importance of this scene. Suzaku may have been a dick about things, but I really think Lelouch just needed some time to gather his thoughts and firm up his resolve. No longer is this just for Nunally’s sake, he has a goal in mind to re-work the world into a better place. In order to crush Schneizel’s world he needs to do what needs to be done and not be held back.

I liked the Hitomi insert for mood music here, and the scene brings back the events of season one to me. They seem to be coming back to the theme that in the end, C.C. will be the only one standing with Lelouch. I can’t really say that it’s a romantic scene necessarily, since they’ve been close like this before, but it was actually a bit touching and served as a nice slowdown and breath before the final battle starts.

Hey guys we kind of ran out of time, so have a fast forward montage instead.

This was rather ho hum for a battle of wits, a bunch of pieces moving and feinting around. Personally, I’m more of the George S. Patton school of thought:

“We are advancing constantly and we are not interested in holding onto anything, except the enemy’s balls. We are going to twist his balls and kick the living shit out of him all of the time. Our basic plan of operation is to advance and to keep on advancing regardless of whether we have to go over, under, or through the enemy. We are going to go through him like crap through a goose; like shit through a tin horn!”

Now this is more like it, super cannons from one side and exploding mountains from the other. I prefer this type of action back and forth than pussyfooting around with formations. Good to see lots of explosions and mooks kicking it, although none of the named players die.

Sigh, unfortunately not even an exploding mountain can kill off this retard. And he even went around and impregnated Villetta. From my experience that’s a massive death flag if there ever was one. And what the hell happened to her character? She was supposed to be this tough woman who was going to rise up the ranks and kick some ass, but now she gets knocked up by an incompetent moron and actually goes and stays home while he is off fighting. Such a letdown.

I’m trembling at the thought of a C.C. vs. Kallen KMF fight next week, oh my how delicious that would be. I was expecting a cheese-kun marking somewhere on there at least, pink just doesn’t really suit her.

I may have missed a step here, but when did anyone actually find out that he was really Zero? I mean last episode they said that the only people in the OotBK that were told of it was the top echelon, and on Schneizel’s side only the inner circle. So, I would assume she has no idea he was Zero, and just thinks he’s Lelouch. However, the way this show has thrown out past circumstances and events I wouldn’t be surprised if that didn’t even matter. Nina is concentrating her entire will on redeeming herself, horrified at her ignorance and how Schneizel used her for such destruction. Not sure what they are cooking up in there with that pink, rectangular object, but I’m sure we’ll find out next week.

Evil smile sendoff woo!

Well as I said before I enjoyed this episode a lot more than last week’s, which I thought was generally beyond redemption. There were no real plot twists here, so that probably helped, and it was more of a setup for how it all goes down in the final two episodes. Cornelia’s death was pretty lame, but since she was more background noise this season her death didn’t have a particularly deep impact with me. Hopefully Sunrise can pull one out here and provide us with a satisfying ending, there doesn’t really need to be any huge plot twists to finish this one off. Just make sure you kill off a bunch of people and end it with finality.

Next Episode:

Low quality extended preview of episode 24.

Schneizel and Lelouch in a fabulous showoff, KMF battles, the Gurren coming down on Lelouch, and a million dollar smile from C.C. From the extended preview, Xing Ke coughing up blood (the writers finally remember that plot string eh?) and more fighting. Looks to be an action-packed episode.

Crusader’s Angry Drunken Rant

As you can see Lulu doesn’t have the balls to say “I’ll kill you.” the bloody coward.

Damn right my God would kill you and cast you up Satan’s ass.

FABULOUS, right?

They did, they really did it. They didn’t even give her a new Knightmare Frame! Curse you Sunrise and your BL ways! One day I will turn your homes into a smoldering ruin I will slay all of your bastard children along with your entire families before I poke out your eyes and cut out your tongues you ball-less miscreants!

We will make love and you will speak my language!

Report to Suzaku’s room every thirty minutes from here until the last ep…

Seeing as how all the great mecha pilots sans one is dead, I am here to deliver the eulogy for a great mecha pilot.

My Captain, my Princess is dead and with her this series has jumped shark for the second time. First it was the float packs and now they have made clear that every woman is about to be killed by effete boys who love each other too damn much. A thousand curses upon Sunrise, words cannot convey my hatred of them. May Goro die a virgin and childless in hovel for killing my captain and above all may the fate of Sunrise be “interesting” until the last of them dies for their collective insolence and woman hating ways. May they all get GN-AIDS from their buttsechs orgies! My Captain, my Princess how could they do this to you?! Is there no limit to their hatred of strong women who refuse to sleep with them? I know that they feared all women who were mighty and intelligent, fear leads to hatred, hatred leads to emo, and emo leads to the BL side. Damn you Sunrise. Damn you all to BL hell!

Cornelia-hime loved all of her sisters it is such a shame that she did not give Nunnally one last kiss.

This series is crap with the passing of this great and noble woman, now there will be no yuri to compensate for the OH GEASS NO moments that this travesty is now famous for. Cornelia-hime was a brave soldier who served her nation and siblings faithfully. She had no intention to take over the world for silly emo schemes, but fought only to protect those siblings who could not protect themselves. She respected people based on merit and was repaid with treachery from that damned Suzaku. On the field of combat she shone brilliantly with her grunt suit and was denied a new Knightmare by the bastards Goro and the Geass team (I spit on their series). Lulu and his lover Suzaku killed Cornelia’s beloved Euphie and stained her memory. Now Nunnally is left in the clutches of another insane male of the Britannian royal line. She defended the fatherland until death! Honor and blood for the Iron Cross. With her death, so goes the last of the great female Knightmare pilots who were untainted by men and remained maidens who blessed the field of hellish combat giving hope to the poor grunts. Cornelia was an officer who cared about the poor grunts under her command, never would she use them as pawns or throw them away in some pitiful strategy. Now her grunt friendly way of war is now dead replaced with a boring power point that makes Hannibal roll in his grave. The world is diminished with her passing.

It was the dream of every grunt in the Britannian military to have a moment with Cornelia-hime.

We have lost a hero to our glorious and noble cause, but does this foreshadow our defeat? No. It is a new beginning. Compared to the Code Geass Team the national resources of VOTOMS are less than one thirtieth of theirs. Despite this major difference, how is it that we have been able to fight the fight for so long? It is because our goal in this war is a righteous one. It’s been over fifty years since the elite of Code Geass, consumed by greed took control of Sunrise. We want our freedom. Never forget the times when the Code Geass Team has trampled us! We, the Gilgamesh Confederacy, have had a hard and arduous struggle to achieve freedom for all citizens of our great nation. Our fight is sacred, our cause divine. My beloved captain, Cornelia, was sacrificed. Why? The war is at a stalemate. Perhaps many of you have become complacent. Such a lack of compassion is gei.

The Code Geass Team has polluted our most cherished mecha genre for their own greed. We must send them a message, but not a message composed of words. We have wasted too much time with words. We need action now. The Code Geass elite must be taught a strong lesson for their evil corruption. This is only the beginning of our war. We have been putting more and more money into our efforts towards making our military stronger than ever. The Code Geass Team has done the same.

Many of your fathers, brothers, and lovely female mecha pilots have perished valiantly in the face of a contemptible enemy. We must never forget what the Code Geass Team has done to our mecha! My Princess Cornelia li Britannia has shown us these virtues through her own valiant sacrifice. By focusing our anger and sorrow, we are finally in a position where victory is within our grasp, and once again, our most cherished genre will flourish. Victory is the greatest tribute we can pay those who sacrifice their lives for us! Rise, our people! Rise! Take your sorrow, and turn it into anger! Gilgamesh thirsts for the strength of its people! SIEG VOTOMS!!!

Unlike her brothers Cornelia-hime cared about the little people.

As you can see the Code Geass Team liked to beat up women.

Even when Cornelia was mad she was still beautiful.

She always said that by denying her a new Knightmare that this series was going to turn to a BL-fest.

When she read the script that took five years to write she was one of the first to say “you’re shitting me right?”

Along with Treize she had often asked “WTF is this shit?”

In the end she opted out of her contract once Cecile started to enjoy being Grace in another universe.

She never ceased fighting the forces of evil despite only having recently healed her broken arm.

Cornelia died with her sword in hand in one last bid to save this series.

Cornelia-hime is gone, and she will be sorely missed. So say we all!

If the Ikaruga went down in the Fuji blast, how come the only one we see alive on the bridge is Ougi? Does that mean the rest of the crew died in the blast?

If they killed my brown Goddess Raksharta I will be so, so disappointed.

How come we haven’t seen much of Nonette the Knight of 9 yet? She’s the only Round that hasn’t really had much screentime. With Cornelia dead and only 2 episodes left, shouldn’t she be on the main battlefield? WTF is up with that?

Still can’t believe Crusader’s Macross F replies have officially surpassed Geass replies. @_@

Does anyone know if next week episode will be 24 and 25, like in the first season?

This is like the first episode that is not left with a cliff hanger and I’d want to kill my self for having to wait another week…

Personally Cornelia dying isn’t a big deal, it’s the way that she died that really pisses me off. She was a major character, even a good character, and yet she dies in an incredibly pathetic way. Fuck you Sunrise.

@Halcyon, the rest of the crew is alive, they are seen in the extended preview.
As for Nonette’s lack of appearance, there might be two reasons for this: Sunrise likes the character and decided to save her (hence replacing her with Dorothea in the previous ep), or the fact that she exists only because of the Lost Colors game, and she dies in that, so they did not want to kill her in the anime. There’s a good chance she does not even appear again in the anime.

@Crusader: In all honesty , I think she was kinda useless in the latter episodes mainly because she stuck with big bro which if you hadn’t noticed seemed to have nearly everything coming his way.Plus, given how she wanted to right Yuffie’s wrong and how she admired Schneizel so damn much it’s not surprising that she only put her foot down AFTER he admited of sending the entire species back to thestone age if they refuse his rule.

@22:You know , just because you are turned off by this train wreck does not mean that everyone else is,so please don’t put us on the same train with you.No offense intended .

That’s why i hate about shortcuts. It just trying to make ppl more n more confused. It should’ve done more better though eventhough they(sunrise)wanted to finish the show fast.Still it looks so awkward to see just bcoz they want to rush everything so quickly.I’m liking the season 1 better rather than the season 2.

Crusader, my condolences for your loss. :(

Well, I’m overall pretty content with the episode, but then again, I don’t take it very seriously. :) For those of you that do, though, awesome.

I’m getting pretty excited as the finale draws closer, and I’m looking forward to the resolution (I agree, they should do a seperate project for the conclusion, and just end the season with a literal bang). I personally am looking forward to seeing how all the relationships end up; I’m still praying for my NinaxMillay pair-up. D: Gaiz, I know she’s unpopular, but COME ON. Millay dropped her engagement and ran off to become a reporter just because Ms. Einstein was all “I don’t like women who are just for show”. PLEASE.

Also, my friend and I have a betting pool going for wether Suzaku and Lulu’s little love-fest goes canon or not.

As for Nunally, I kind of hope she doesn’t die. I know she’s pretty much a useless plot device at this point, but I still think it would be weak if she didn’t a least get a turn-about before she kicks the bucket. She’s sweet. She shouldn’t be forced to die a tool at the end. Give her a LITTLE bit of dignity, at the least!

You know who else is a useless plot device now? Pretty much everyone. :| I’m really annoyed that Kallen’s still floating around doing nothing, though it looks as if she’ll at least get to blow some shit up in the episodes to come. I loved her in Season 1, she had so much character potential, but Sunrise seems to have forgotten all about her true motives for starting this shit in the first place (eg her MOTHER and her BROTHER) and turned her into a jilted lover. Lelouch didn’t kiss you back, so clearly he’s out for world domination? Even after you were second-closest in his confidance, barring C.C.? So just because he didn’t kiss you, everything you learned about him, after he GOT YOU GUYS A FREAKIN’ COUNTRY TO CALL YOUR OWN, you can’t see that he’s purposefully crucifying himself for the greater good? FOR SHAME, KALLEN. Your demotion from strong, independent female character on a mission to two-bit Lulu-ho makes me cry. It really, really does.

I’m also confused to why C.C. is still around, when the whole Ragnarok thing is over with. :/ I mean, yeah, she’s there because she’s Lulu’s “accomplice”, and Lulu hasn’t fufilled the contract by offing her yet, but, really… she’s not… DOING anything. She’s not even being snarky or- or eating pizza. D:

(I also will avoid the obvious comment about Suzaku ‘being Lelouch’s sword’. xD Lulz.)

And yeah, I’d say Nina definitely knows Lelouch used to be Zero. Besides the good point Kim brought up, Shneizizzle knew, and Kanon knew, and most of his team probably knew at the end and since Nina was originally working for him-

Anyway. Looking forward to next episode, overall content. :)

You know I was thinking and how can the black knights side with Shneizel I mean they do know about Pendragon right? So they approve of him killing the “innocent” but betrayed Lelouch because he killed innocent? WTF also do they really think Shneizel will let them go freely?
Shneizel: thanks for helping me overthrow Lelouch
Ootbk: yeah no prob…. hey can you disarm your Fleia warheads
Shneizel: why don’t you trust me
    Ootbk: well….
Shneizel: don’t worry the Fleia trigger is in the hands of a loli
Xingke: (hmmm…. a loli she couldn’t possibly hurt anybody) ok
Ootbk: what are you talking about you pedobear?
Xingke: a loli could never hurt the world
Ootbk: didn’t they fire a Fleia just now in the battle
Shneizel: that was an accident sorry
    Ootbk: Ok
*End of the world* *new god Shneizel smiles evilly all day* *face gets stuck that way* *gets plastic surgery* *can’t fix it* *keeps smilling evily all day*

Also I think that Orenji-kun will geass cancel nunally allowing her to walk and see that would be lulz. Also if according to CG physics she actually walks that would be impossible, since she hasn’t walked for 10 years she wouldn’t have the strength to walk.

You bring up a good point, as far as Jeremiah is concerned. Has he actually USED his anti-Geass at ALL?! I mean, besides that one incident with Shirley. He’s got this FLIPPING AWESOME POWER and…. uses it once? (Also, didn’t Shneizizzle mention something about restoring Anya’s memories? How’d he manage that, if that would require the aid of a Geass-cancel? And Jeremiah would definitely not help HIM. Soo…. plot hole?)

And as far as orange-kun is concerned , the anti geass would only screw up his plans right now.Orange is afterall the colour of his loyalty.
I DO believe that Lelouch is planing on using it though , after he has rebuild the world, to free the remaining troops from the geass.I freaking called it btw.

ok now people are complaining bout cornelias death so am i out of the whole freaking royal family shes one of the two i could stand ( the other was clovis)

so my question is how would you have had her die i have two theories

one after realizing schizels an douche she rescues nunnaly and brings her to lulu
she goes out into the field to help destroy the floating fortress of death thing
schizel then fires his last nuke at the avalon to save nunnaly and everyone else she (in her badass glouster) staps the nuke with her lance killing herself but taking down snitzel and saving everyone else

    number 2

she defects to lulu and is fighting in the thick of things when she comes across her nemesis(todouh) they get in a huge fight where she cuts of his knightmares arm and is about to kill him when his woman (chiba i think)and xingke attacks her. She turns around to beat them. shes forses the chick to eject and dodges xingke’s lazer of death thing when todouh comes from behind and cuts her meck in two with his giant ass sword(coward). she falls to the ground while orange catches her mech. he gives her to a subordinate to take her to the avalon while he attacks todouh and xingke.

c.c. joins in taking out todouh. and orange kills xingke with a tempest(big ass storm) of loyalty

then after this battle theyre at her funeral with snitzels head on a pike and shes burried next to euphie the end

To start off I thought Cornelia did die a heroines death. Maybe not in the way people were expecting but she still did. The very act is far more heroic than her simply dieing in a war where everyone dies. She dies outside of the actual “battlefield”. Her last actions redeem her character in my eyes. I thought she was a great character in season 1 and then season 2 came along and she became useless. Not even likable. This sole act of attempting to raise her sword and possibly bring an end to one tyrant is simply awesome in my opinion. Despite all this I don’t think she is quite dead yet.

Here are my predictions for a couple of the characters.

Kallen: I really don’t want her to die. I loved her character in the first season and the first half of the second season. I think one of two things is in store for her. One: C.C. kills her (or vice versa and thus causes Lelouch to kill her) or she ends up surviving the war with tamaki as one of the very few survivors.

Lelouch: I have four possible endings for him; death from this battle or death by Suzaku (what exactly did Lelouch say to convince Suzaku to agree?). Or he survives and has Orange un-geass everybody and then commits suicide or is killed by one of the survivors. Either way I don’t see him living.

Suzaku: Honestly I can see him surviving the war if only to be Lulu’s executioner, otherwise he will probably get killed by someone (either anya or kallen).

Orange-kun: Depends on what the series plans for the ending to be. A happy ending will have him survive and cancel the geass on everyone Lulu has done geass on. Or he will be killed within minutes of the next episode (although maidxorange is an awesome pairing it probably won’t happen).

Nina: I honestly think she will kill herself if she does not get killed by someone.

C.C. – If the ending goes sour and the entire world is destroyed she will be the one survivor and give birth to Lulu’s son…not. In all honestly she will either kill Kallen or be killed by Kallen.
    Those are my predictions.

You got that wrong. The BK/UFN don’t care about killing of innocents, they only care about fighting and defeating Britannia. Schneizel nuking Pendragon is an act of war against Britannia, so in their mind, Schneizel has defected and is on their side in the war against Britannia. The BK/UFN betrayed Lelouch/Zero because they found out he was actually a Britannian prince and they came to the conclusion that he was just stringing them along. And Lelouch becoming emperor has made them feel right about their conclusion, since arguably the formation of the UFN was a precursor, in their mind, to him becoming emperor.

By the way, Cornelia is still alive:

Yeah, see, that’s what I thought would have happened; I just don’t understand why it sounds like Shneizel’s taking credit for it. In my sub it reads as

Kanon: Is Anya okay? You said to restore her memories, but…

    I don’t know if anyone else has a different translation. :/ But if it was just the dissappearance of Marianne, what the heck does Shniezel have to do with it, anyway? Does anyone outside of Lulu, Suzaku, and C.C. even know what happened in the World of C? Anya was left outside… Eeh, maybe it’s just a weird translation. Maybe the “memories” he means is her little record-keeper gizmo. So maybe they just gave that back to her… I have no clue. ^^;

Edit: Oh- I just rewatched Ep. 21 and in it Charlie admits to using his memo-wipe Geass on Anya. :3 So yeah, she was definitely Geassed. Doesn’t dispute the “because they’re dead she got her memories” theory back, though. Just that it’s Chuck’s Geass, not Marianne’s.

Well, I don’t know about anyone else, but my interpretation of ‘Why Suzaku Decided To Play For Lelouch’s Team’ is based on that little self-monologue right before he defects.

Suzaku: Perhaps. At the very least, Euphy never said Lelouch was Zero. Neither did Shirley. So, I…

I interpred this as Suzaku going, “Wait. So Lelouch is the ‘bad guy’, but Euphy (whom I obviously hold in high regard, or haven’t you been paying attention?) and Shirley (who was an innocent and had ample reason to hate Zero) both chose to withold his identity and allow him to continue his antics. So maybe Zero isn’t the ‘bad guy’?”

Alternatively, he’s not that intuitive and he’s just asking himself “WWED? Oh, well, protect Zero, apparently. Sounds like a plan! :D”

@Midlos: Agreed. Though I am bummed that we don’t get to see Empress Cornelia, her manner of death was quite heroic. More heroic, if less dramatic, than if she goes out in a KF fighting Britannia.

At least Nonette’s still alive. Funny how I always latch on to these minor characters (Darlton, Guilford, Monica et cetera)

Oh Maid X Orange will definitely happen, i mean not only are they both extremely loyal, but they’re both cyborgs…. how else do you explain that maid hat staying on her head after jumping down a cliff, fighting orange-kun head on, and getting hit by a nuke :3

I.totally.called it. Nunally was out of range!;)

Although, you have to wonder about Ms. Roymeyer- if I’m not mistaken, she was with Nunally. And what’s with Sayoko showing up all wounded? It seems a bit over-the-top…

On another note, these are Lloyd’s budgets:
    95% goes to Lancelot Albion
4% goes to repairs for Lancelot
1% goes to paint that will hopefully mask the fact that Shitsu is getting a hand-me-down…

since the beginning of this anime i never could guess what would happen next i always thought that lelouch will become the villain.but in the end his goal was just the same to give peace and end the war and in order to do that he had sacrificed so many things in his life..i hope there will be another season..hehe.Hail to Lelouch Lamperouge!!!

cornelia might be a great warrior but she is not all that bright, and when it comes to the “little people” she has no problem killing little people en mass, had 0 love for the 11s. and hated any show of weakness towards the numbers in general.

but i guess she draws the line at FLEAing half the planet. numbers or not.

i think she could have been used better, but her prejudice and devotion to the royal line made her blind, plus she knew zero/lulu killed yuffie and that was as much or more unforgivable to her as it was to susaku, so allying to zero was probalby last on her list of possibilities no matter if he was trying to destroy geass or whatever it made not a spits difference in hell to her since she believes he murdered yuffie, not only that she believes he intenionally and coldly ruined her legacy and memory by purposely programming yuffie to massacre the 11s.

and not like lalouch has done anything to dispel those notions or try to make any excuse for any action or accidents that have happened along the path. he never even explained what really happened to sazaku after they join forces.

@ Mytilene i wondered what that aside meant at the end of the episode, but i think thats a pretty good take on what exactly it meant and why he had a change of heart. it was just ironic that so many got that about lulu somehow, but his bff just refused to even think that way or try to understand his friend.

and maid x knew who zero was when they pulled that little stunt to leave japan as zeros, he took his mask off in front of her and gave her a nod, she was totally kick ass and her and orange just seem to understand zero/lulus goals better than most and were fiercly loyal

Oh man, talk about hyperbole. Cornelia massacred with the best of ‘em in her days as “the Britannian Witch”. She so did not look out for the little people. She looked down on Numbers.

Oh, and accusing Suzaku of murdering Euphie? Bald-faced lie. Heck, Lelouch was forced to kill her after his Geass accidentally went off on her. and he was NOT happy about having to do so.

@cerebus23 There’s simply no factual indication one way or the other whether Lelouch told Suzaku about what happened with Euphie. They did become best friends again over the one month period in between Charles’ and Marianne’s death in the World of C and their takeover of the Britannian throne, so it’s possible Suzaku knew.
