    Tried Häagen-Dazs once, and it wasn’t that great. It’s so-so :/
I don’t know the other ones yet. Darn I do feel like eating some ice cream right now >_

Kurisu’s on the right track. The girls should be a bit younger, though.

I lurve ben and jerrys. Chocolate fudge brownie ftw.

One flavor to rule them all – Ben and Jerry’s Phish food. Too bad the band isn’t nearly as good as the ice cream that’s named after them.

ARGH!!! Why does my post always get eaten up? Fortunately I have learnt from my experience and did the CTRL-C CTRL-V thing…

Amen to the rain hopefully cease and desisting.

Regarding Ben and Jerry’s, I have a big problem with the Phish Fish and the Fossil Fuel ones. I love the ice cream itself, but I really, really don’t like the chocolate fishes and the dinosaurs. They stuck in my throat and no amount of cool, sweet, heavenly ice cream will get the taste out of my mouth. While I’m tempted to just not eat the chocolate bits, I can’t justify the waste of my money (Ben and Jerry’s is sooooo expensive!) if I don’t swallow them.

Yes, I admit I’m weird. :D Recently I’ve found that I enjoyed Marsha Marsha Marshmallow (Ben and Jerry’s again). Chocolate Fudge Brownie is good as well. Yeah, I like chocolate ice cream (green tea ice cream???? :{ ), but not chocolate itself.

@LK: Younger? @_@ I’d say they’re about right in that pic, any younger and – Ohh… your name has “loli” in it… never mind :)

There used to be a kiosk/store in the Japanese supermarket near here. They sold (gelato/fruit) crepes, boba tea and gelato. But they’re not here anymore ;_; They were the best. Aside from that, maybe I should try Ben and Jerry’s… it sounds good, just more expensive?

I like Breyer’s. Is that an American brand? I like the koan-like simplicity of the ingredients list: Milk, cream, sugar, egg yolk, natural flavor. That’s it!

Ben and Jerry’s chocolate chip. It’s the best of both tastes — creamy vanilla highlighted by delicious chocolate chunks.

  17. Posted January 22, 2007 at 5:45 pm | Permalink

    Breyer’s is American, yeah.

I like just about any kind of ice cream really. Of course, I prefer having vanilla ice cream with a strawberry crepe. I so need to find a crepe place nearby my house. I don’t always want to go to Japantown or San Francisco just for one.

hmm… gelato!! Unlike most people, only milky ice cream I like is chocolate.. I prefer more sweet, fruity ones, so gelato is best for me..

Gelato’s great, whether it’s winter / summer. You’ll get warm inside from eating gelato in winter.. =P

Häagen-Dazs is my choice of poison.

Favourite flavour would be anything coffee with chocolate chunks.

I have no real favorites when it comes to ice cream. That
said, the best gelato I had was in, appropriately enough,
in Italy. There was a small shop in Sestriere (a ski resort
in Northwestern Italy) which was really good. Coming in
a close second were a pair of shops in Florence. This was
in February so it was cold and in Sestriere snowing, but the
    gelato was still very good.

As for the commercial brands, almost any of the super
    premiums are fine.

On a related note, I also like the shave ice (no mispelling,
that’s how the locals refer to it) sold on the North Shore
of Oahu especially at Matsumoto’s. It’s very refreshing.

    Ben & Jerry’s Chocolate Fudge Brownie!! .>

I like Häagen-Dazs’ bars too. The chocolate-covered and almond-sprinkled vanilla bar is just awesome *O*

Gelato is hella good too… It’s all chewy and nice.

    I need an aisu kurimu fix ;o;

But i find that i don’t really like the taste of green tea ice-cream. In the same time one of my friend told me to try Uzumaki green tea ice-cream. Just one word to in my mind. I love it. It was fantastic. It just make me feel like eating it again. Thats a really BIG different. Now so many flavour coming out. I really got to try all the flavour in my following days.

After I read this link, I went to try some of the ice cream mentioned. Haagen Dazs is my all time favourite but too expensive.

I tried some gelato – In liang court etc ( very average gelato) brought some ben and jerry , dreyers etc..

The Uzumaki icecream is very interesting. Think the concept is good… Ice cream , hahahah, I tried the green tea( the most famous) nice , smooth and taste good, but my friend had, wasabi( they call it wassup baby or something) he was on fire!!!!! hahahah..

I recommnad the green tea. will try the black sesame later..

I tried Uzumaki’s Bubble tea and Sakura last Saturday! I lovee the pearls and the Sakura ice cream is nice. It has a light sakura taste and it’s embedded with chocolate chips with a big red cherry on top. This Sunday, wear a kimono and get the Sakura ice cream free!
