Blood+ 39-42 in a nutshell…

For my first contribution, I am going to do a speed review, well, for few reasons…

1. I don’t wanna spoil the show for you.

2. The juicy details are best left watched.

3. My job is to get you INTERESTED in an Blood. If you wanna read spoilers on Blood+ i suggest you find some other site. Or look out for my detailed review soon.
4. I’m just too bloody lazy to write hugeass reviews now.

So here goes, ep 39-42 in a few words…

1. An assasination attempt on Amshell was made, he was shot in public, but never died as he appeared in later in the day. Well, at least this confirms that chevaliers and all chiroptera cannot be killed by humans.
2. The whole operation of Red Shield shifts to New York to follow the movements of Cinq Fleches’ who have coincidentally appointed Van Argeno to be CEO of the American branch. Diva is also slated to perform in a United States military base as part of her world tour.
3. Solomon still seeks out Saya’s love, even though he may be Diva’s chevalier. He is disowned by Diva. Amshell, of his own accord, attempts to take the life of Solomon but the fight is broken up by Nathan.
4. Dr. Collins is relieved of his duties as Diva’s physician, a role which is given to Julia, by Amshell.
5. Some of us thought that Diva only stole Riku’s identitiy and face, and some of us thught he was raped. While the former was confirmed somewhere in episode 32, it wasn’t until episode 41 that we have confirmation that Riku was raped. Because we now know that Diva is pregnant with twins. Also, it has become apparent that mating with another chevalier not of your gets you pregnant.
6. Saya is soon entering her 30 year slumber. A secret she is hiding from everyone except Hagi and Jahana. Jahana, upon hearing this decides to postpone her return to Okinawa in order to look after Saya.
7. Red Shield pay a visit to the military base where Diva is performing. Supposedly in an attempt to assinate Diva.
8. Dr. Collins attempts to kill Julia, in order to get back into the research team. However, David, who has entered the base disguised as a security guard takes the bullet for Julia.
9. Kai meets with Amshell, who forcefully takes him to Diva. Diva persuades Kai to become her chevalier so that he may protect Riku’s children and so that he may have children with Saya, a proposal which is denied by Kai. Diva attempts to kill Kai because of his rejection to her proposal, but is thwarted by Saya. In order to protect Diva, Amshell restrains Saya, while in the meantime, Hagi and Nathan square off.
10. Chiroptera appear in the military base, in a move which is orchestrated by Van Argeno, who swiftly moves in with his Corpse Corps to swiftly deal with the problem.
11. Before Amshell can kill Saya by strangling her, Solomon comes to the rescue. He takes off with Saya leaving her disinterested in any further battle. As Hagi finishes off with Nathan, he goes looking for Saya.

Well, maybe not the speed review I was looking at, but hopefully some of the juicy details and character details I’ve left out actually whet your appetite to pick up this series, even though its at 40+ episodes. Well, I seriously urge you too anyway, it’ll be well worth your time and effort. Anyways, look forward to an in-depth rant and proper review next time round.
