This is a brand new drama released this summer featuring Nagase Tomoyo from Tokio, Tegoshi Yuuya from NEWS and Tanaka Koki from KAT-TUN etc. It basically can be summed up in one sentence and that is – Illiterate Mafia gang leader going back to high school to ‘get some brains’ and be a smarter leader.
Sakaki Makio, upcoming leader (or not?) of the Kantou Fang gang, aged 27 years old. Despite his age, he can only count up till the number 27, knows how to write his name in a mixture of Kanji and Hiragana and understands nothing else except fighting. Due to circumstances and his strong desire to maintain his position as the third boss of the Kantou Fang, he heeds his father’s suggestion and heads back to high school disguised as a 17 year old.
On his first day in school, he gets ostracized by his classmates for his inability to write his name in Kanji and even faces extortion from his fellow bully classmates (ironically). He sits through his lessons painstakingly and abhors the idea of school. Through a chanced occurrence, he knows of the elusive pudding (12 made and sold each day with no reservations allowed) sold by the pastry shop in school. Makio’s love for pudding makes him all the more determined to purchase the “soft, creamy pudding
