Spam Karma

Hmm, just a notice. If you did not see your comment come out, it might be due to the fact that spam karma had eaten up your post. I have noticed a few people’s comments had been eaten up. But no worries, i check it frequently so that all your voices would be heard.

For enz: Hate you for tempting me :D

Yeah, SpamKarma2 might eat up comments once in a while. If this continues to be a major problem (at the moment, we still check the darn thing and rescue comments that are not spam), I’ll probably try and configure the preferences to do a better job.

The comment numbers seem to be a bit buggy though. The “Recent Comments” column always shows 1 more comment than the actual number of comments for any particular post.

… and it is for this reason I prefer the built-in Comment Moderation feature of WordPress. Makes my monitoring sessions easier.

Have to look out for spam comments getting automatically approved, though. :-/

    WordPress Trackback Spam!!!
I have installed plugins that prevent comment spams, but this won't prevent trackback to be blocked. I've been spam by many
MFA websites that most probably is from the same network with trackback, but they are not linking me on their website. May I
know how do they do it and how do I stop it? Without disabling trackback?
    Thanks, and I'm using WordPress.
