No one can have their hands on her until it is proven without a shadow of a doubt that all other harem gals are out of the picture. She is the most innocent and hottest gal in Tokimeki Memorial ~Only love~ and the clones approved of her.
Spoiler for Episode 9 by the way, since this is based on it slightly in order to disguise my attempt to swoon at one of my favorite characters.

Let me list the reasons why I think she is cute.
1. She loves penguins. Have I ever noted to you that girls who like dolphins are extremely moe~
2. After green haired gals, purple haired gals are just about the hottest in the anime world. Look at sweet cute Primula from Shuffle!. Look at Lumiere from Kiddy grade. Look at Yuki Nagato from Haruhi. Look at Eme-chan from Mamoru. Do I need to say more? Purple haired gals are moe~
3. She swims. Swimming gals often have good figures and Mina has a sweet lithe figure! She’s hot and cute at the same time.
4. Innocent and shy girls are always moe~. There is no reason required.
5. Kouhai-chans are always cute. Look at Alice from Aria for no further proof that Kouhai-chan (underclassman) are cute.
6. Only Mina can pull off being extremely shy and cute and not be annoying. Some anime characters just pull off as completely annoying in that stereotype.
7. She is strangely a crunch player that has steels of nerves when the going gets tough. She’s not completely shy at the very least.
Isn’t she just darn cute.

well its not like he really has a choice in the matter of being a harem character, its the author’s choice so if ur really going to get mad at someone i think you should get mad at the author for making him honest, caring, and all those other features that just happen to make girls gravitate toward him despite he really doesnt mean to
