"Science teacher is weak against English!" – Hilarious Final Fantasy spoof

Oh god, watching this gave me complete stitches.

I got this from The anime blog. I wonder if we are affliates? Maybe we can form a “The, this, that” alliance, or something.

That is, if I can find this anime blog that is the anime blog.

Ya.

By the way, the original link for this website is here.

LOL great job to the makers. I wish I had the time and skill to make a video like this…

huh, but it’s an american video, it should not be Jurong East right?

<— is Singaporean. Oh hell wait, it is JURONG EAST, WHAT IN THE WORLD IS GOING ON????

Don’t tell me this is in fact a Singaporean production???

I’m pretty sure the one is episode 4 is Jurong East, Singapore… :D Although other places doesn’t look like Singapore. Since when do we wear coats and scarfs in Sinagpore? (episode 3) Looks like an international production in collaboration of various nationalities to me. :D

BTW, there’s also a THEM anime review website somewhere. I use it when I want in depth, thoughtful reviews. See, the whole anime internet scene has the and that and them. :P

That looks like the floor of Jurong Entertainment Centre beside Jurong East MRT station in episode 4. Strange why he poured food on the floor and commented about third world countries while in singapore.

Mark is probably Singaporean. Look at POSB ATM card. There are tonnes of overseas Singaporean students so this is no surprise. Besides, he sounds Singaporean.

Rofl I saw this on you tube a while ago and its quite funny. Its made very well as they pay attention to the small details such as running into walls, the old unnatural way of turning to each other when talking in video games etc

  15. Posted February 26, 2007 at 6:30 am | Permalink

    AHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA. Those crazy Singaporeans. XD

And now we only need “This Anime Blog” to complete the ensemble. :P

I never played Final Fantasy but most RPGs are alike so I found this just as amusing. XD The English textbook was great as well as the “sleep Yes NO” and “rent a chocobo” XD

Thanks for the co-credit to the Final Fantasy spoof link!

It was a good waste of 40 minutes, and I did like how they did a lot of things, like the chair that they couldn’t go past, the victory pose for the first battle, and the boss battle. :P

LOL But it says Babson College, and that’s a college in Massachusetts (somewhere in the eastern coast of America). So unless he filmed it while he went back home as well,…

Some of it reminds me of The Legend of Zelda too. This is just damn funny. Some of the stuff on youtube really is crap and some of it is really inventive and funny.

This is downright hilarious. They really did manage to capture the feel of old RPG’s ^-^

I even wasted 2+ hours since I watched quite a few of those clips at least once. I guess the part about “Gong Xi Fatt Choy” for 999999 damage was the best part of it. Some of it is definitely gotten from Legend of Zelda and I notice a few other spoofs. It’s watching such videos that make my day all the time ^+^

I guess it’s really an international film, across continents.

    oh shi-!

I absolutely loved this video. I thought it was an excellent spoof on RPGs. My friend, however, said that this is an overall amalgamation of popular RPGs. She got cheesed off when I said it was mostly FF.

It would be an interesting anime trifecta: “This, That, The.”

  23. Posted February 27, 2007 at 9:20 am | Permalink

wahahahaha, really? An anime trifecta, now that will be rather interesting.

Hmmmm. I wonder if “That, The, Them” works well since there are such anime blogs around :P

Great stuff!! I think you need to have played FFXI Online to really appreciate some of this (like the music and the flute sound). Anyone notice the references to Secret of Mana?? =D
