Most people who come to this blog knows that there is no single post that has ever talked about figurines. In the whole history of T.H.A.T Anime Blog (we are exactly 10 months old today by the way), no figurine post has ever been done. However, today is a different day. As you can see, the goddess Tsuruya, the lol-tan, the green haired nyoro~ meido, the yellow bunny suit cutie is finally making her appearance in a figurine!
Yes, look at that wonderful figurine. According to the site that was directed to me in the irc channel, it will be released in August 2007. The figurine is just a good mix of beauty, cuteness and sexiness that I think I will worship and grovel to anyone who would buy this for me (just joking, I don’t really like figurines).
Nevertheless, please do not mind me as I now worship this goddess’s figurine. To wifey, sorry, you have to take second place for Tsuruya just for today.

We’ve lost the battle against figurine collectors…
Lol that one is 1/4 in scale. In other words, she’s huge. And 11000 yen to boot. And you probably won’t get any stock.
You know you want to buy it. Give in to the Figurinee Side of the Otaku!
There’s just something so… weird… at the level of enthusiasm at an inanimated object. O_O

It’s not the inanimate object, but what that object represents.
“To wifey, sorry, you have to take second place for Tsuruya just for today.”
It’s sad, really sad.
~ZeusIrae~ nah, that’s okay, there are other traps in the AB.net…are there? If not, hey, I’ll just settle for the next best thing, the lolicons!
~Impz~ To goshujin-sama, sorry, you have to take “dumped-now-single” status just for today too. We can make it forever if you like.
@wifey: O_O *grovels for forgiveness* It’s a moment of folly, I assure you!!! T_T
ThirteenSugars – I know what my priorities are, and even a foot-tall figure doesn’t compare to ‘wifey’. May I suggest you make alternative plans?
Noo impz, noooooo!
My fanboyish personality would probably have made me a figurine collector as well if it weren’t for the fact that I would have no place to put them, and I’d probably forget how to take care of them (to prevent wear or whatever sort).
@ThirteenSugars
aw cut the dude some slack; at least he doesn’t have the amount of figurines that I have… =x

The bigger the better.
Although I have my doubts as to her ability to stay in that pose. Give her a few months in tropical weather and she might end up completely folded over (ugh! not a pretty sight!).

A small price to pay for an object of fine workmanship. But he’s right – that’s a hefty price tag, and after shipping+handling+taxes one might end up paying through one’s nose. I’m sorry, Tsuruya-sama; many of your devotees will have to make do with a Megami poster.
