So that’s why there haven’t been new episodes for a couple of weeks; I’m beginning to get withdrawal…
How many review episodes are there? I can’t wait for the new arc ^^ Will it start on next week?
I agree – I’ve been faithfully checking this site and the japanese tv site to see whats happening. Withdrawal kicking in here too – but I’m stemming that flow with j-dorama at the mo. lol.
@Karura: Who isn’t? Oh well
. I cannot wait for it to be back
@Bella: I am not sure to be honest, I am still waiting for the site to update itself until new episodes come out, but for now, next week will be another review episode.
@Ling: LOL. J-drama? I wish i can get into that but I hardly have time to get into anything currently. Quite sad
Ah well I already knew this so I haven’t been too upset.
Actually I’m pretty happy right now. I went on a little manga spree over the weekend.
And online wise I’m now up to date with Vampire Knight and Koukou Debut.
I was squeeing with happiness when I picked up volume one of Lovely Complex. I love Viz for releasing it, and will love them even more when Arakure and Koukou Debut finally hit the stores.
But the best news is that Hubby-sama saw sense and isn’t going to make me wait for a Saiunkoku boxset. He ordered volume one for me.
Then again I shouldn’t be surprised, if I want it I usually get it. Such is the life of a spoiled brat ^-^
YAY!!
It arrived, it arrived! The volume 1 dvd arrived.
At first listening to them was very strange, but the more I got into it the more I just got sucked back in to what a great show this is.
Some voices still don’t sound quite right, and even the ones that do seem to fit okay sound a little odd in places, but on the whole its a pretty good dub job.
I think out of all of them, Shuuei’s voice fits the best. I really didn’t think Seiran’s suited him at all, at first but after a while I got used to it and he seems pretty good.
As for Shuurei, I always thought that Kelly Sheridan did a great job as Sango in InuYasha and she doesn’t disappoint here either. In the beginning because I was so used to Houko as Shuurei, she did sound very wierd. And there were also times where Shuurei is yelling and I felt like Kelly was holding back whereas Houko really went for it. But on the whole she was really good.
Brad Swaille wasn’t bad either, although I think I still prefer Tomakazu Seki, he really just can’t be beat. Like the scene where Ryuuki presses Shuurei to call him by his name. Somehow it was cuter when Tomkazu performed it.
Ah well, for the first disc it really wasn’t bad at all, and already from the beginning of the first episode to the latter half of it, it already seemed like they were improving.
So I have to say I really enjoyed it all over again. YAY for Saiunkoku Monogatari.
Impz!!! where are yoooouzzee!!!??? hahaha Hope you’ll be un-busy soon!!
was wondering what’s going on with sauinkoku monogatari now. does anybody know if episode 18 of season two has been aired in japan already?
@Uruz: lol, it has nothing to do with me busy, just that Saiunkoku Monogatari has not released as yet. Not anything new. There will be an announcement later (writing the short entry) on the release of the next new episode, episode 18.
@rarabella: They are now doing review episodes for the arc they have been through. The details for the new episode? Read above
i see some people talking about the season 1 box dvd set? i just wanted to clarify.. it’s all dub? will be there a japanese version (with eng subs)? me want to buy too!!
lmpz, thank you so much for providing us with episode summaries! keep up the good work, love the screenshots!
The dvd’s I’m talking about are the American releases which are dubbed English.
But as with most American dvd releases they do also come with the Japanese track and subtitles if you want to watch them that way instead.
Although it will be a bit confusing since the subs will say Shuurei Hong, whilst in the original voice track she will of course be referred to as Kou, Shuurei.
