Bamboo Blade preview – A kendo harem show?

bamboobladey.jpg

I was just checking on some new fall anime, and this is one of the short previews for an upcoming series, Bamboo Blade. From the graphics, it looks like a chirpy decent school series with kendo as the backdrop. I really cannot tell anything yet from this series, but the graphics looks at least decent. There is really no harm watching at least the first episode of it. For the video itself, you can watch it via this youtube video.

Seems like the whole otaku girl profile is the “big thing” this year, stealing all the thunder from the whole Tsundere hype from last year.

The manga’s not harem, and it’s pretty good. It’s probably the only show that I’m anticipating this coming season.

Been reading the manga, and it’s not really a harem show. More like a light hearted comedy-ish kendo “fighting” manga with some alright characterization. While I don’t think this will be a *great* anime, it should be a good fun-turn-off-your-brain-and-relax show.

I don’t know but I have a strange interest in watching this show. Maybe it’s the emotionless loli.

@rollchan: Woot, that sounds great. If you watch it before me, do tell me whether it’s good or not.

@Falen: the whole otaku girl profile ?_? Is there such a profile in this series? I surely did not know this…

@Lupus: Ya, I have not even seen a guy yet, but it’s easy to label it. Nevertheless, I have a feeling that it will be a funny, happy-go-lucky show. There’s really nothing harmful in watching something that looks decent in graphics and humor as well.

@Moyism: Arrr, if that is the case, I guess I will just pick up the first episode and see how it goes. I have hardly watched any anime lately, and I should really try to pick up some stuff. If not, this blog might just turn defunct :P I am also glad you pick up the slack and found motivation to write. I laughed at your entry of graphs.

@Warpshadow: arr, you are the yuki type of lover. I cannot say that you are warped though, since primula is like the moe. I mean, primula is godly. Nevertheless, Asa is the hottest. Wait, what in the world am I talking about?

I have the manga and been waiting for this to come out in ages, I just love the characters on this show, all 5 of the female lead have such cute personality. If you ask me to pick my favorite one I probably go crazy, let just say I can’t wait for this to broadcast.
