I’m working on moving THAT Animeblog over to different hosting today so there will be some downtime. How much depends on your hosting provider partially, as it can take up to 48 hours (worst-case) for the DNS change to propagate fully once I make the changes. I have work to do prepare for the move before I can change the DNS though, so the site will continue to load here for a bit. Once I start the move you may get messages saying the site doesn’t exist or just errors trying to load it (saying something about a configuration error). This is normal, it just means you’re still getting the old DNS address and trying to load the site off a server that’s no longer hosting it. I’ll make a post on the blog that will appear only on the new server so if you see that you’ll know you have the correct DNS info.
Sorry about the short notice on this, I just found out that THAT Animeblog’s the main cause of the extreme load that’s been causing our server to crash lately myself. This move will help the whole site by lowering load on the main server, and of course THAT Animeblog will have less competition for resources.
Thank you for your patience, I’ve disabled comments so that none are lost in the move.
Update: Server load is increasing and causing me difficulty in making backups among other things. I’m having to disable nearly the entire sidebar to help lower load in the interim. It’ll be back like normal once the move’s complete.
