Kaze no Stigma Episode 22: Determination and Hesitation

kns-22-stupid-stupid-stupid.JPG

If nothing else, I can totally identify with the looks they have on their faces, because I kind of feel the same.

This week’s episode is focused on Ayano and her inner conflict. As many readers of this blog have already done, Ayano compares herself with Tsui Rin and comes out short. What exactly is she worth in Kazuma’s heart? What exactly can she do?

Why, oh why, must the producers be such chauvinistic pigs? Why must they ruin such a wonderful scene with so irritating, ill-timed and out-of-place comedy? Poor Ayano. I feel for you, dear. I really do.

Anyway. If you want to know what I’m talking about, read on.

Summary

kns-22-ayano-thinking-that-she-cant-do-anything.JPG

Ayano doesn’t think she can do anything, as she will never win against Rin. Sounds familiar, huh?

After a long flashback recounting last week’s episode, we see Ayano lying on bed, confused and listless. She recalls Kirika telling her that she must save Kazuma, but thinks to herself that it is impossible, because she cannot do anything.

Kirika and her little detective partner is talking about Nanase getting kidnapped by the Perverted Stalker Nerd, and how Kazuma is finding the location of Pandemonium through defeating various little magic users.

Ren is waiting in some part, and suddenly turns to see Kanon and the Baka Gorilla. He yells at them for coming to this park, which is after all very dangerous. Baka Gorilla simply says that they are friends, and he and Kanon begin bickering again.

Suddenly, Ren hears someone talking to a “wind wielder

Aww… You just made me like Ayano even more. That speech proves how much she has changed, more selfless and thoughtful (as oppose to the past when she just charged into anything) I do believe that Ayano too has changed Kazuma just like him to her. But as you have clearly stated this, I won’t be repetitive.
btw, the episode that Kazuma gives the line that Ayano might grow up to be a fine woman is in eps 7, in the confrontation against Misao, when Ayano asks Kazuma to heal his injury first and she and Ren would make some time for him. I believe this scene shows how much Kazuma appreciates her concern for him(I call it the melting point, te he he)

thanks for the blog and i cant wait to see the next ep there are only 4 eps left and i want to see a big developing between ayano+kazuma! tsuo rin is nice but i dot like her as much as ayano. ayano is MUCH better and cooler! and if u think he likes tsuo rin more.well, that was in the past i say. its 100% possible that he likes ayano now more than rin.of course hes angry. his girlfriend got killed before his eyes nd nowhe sees her again and goes crazy.thats expected.ayano is the main character so i dont care about the relationship of kazumas past with a side character.i hope kazuma+ayano end up.AYANO IS THE BEST AND MY FAV CHARACTER IN kaze no stigma. GO AYANO!! ^^

Well im not that fond of Ayano, since she still remains to be a child, but well who knows, she might be cool and mature after 4 years or so, just as Kazuma said in the future. I am NOT interested at all in seeing Ayano stopped Kazuma, since i know how it happen, and well frankly not that impressive.

I am more interested in Lapis, especially since that dam Vernheart seems to imply that he wants her to “become” Tsou Rin, so that it would be a lot effective against Kazuma by torturing him even more since in the present he is even losing his mind just at the sight of Lapis and through his nightmares in his memories. Imagine the effect it would be to Kazuma if the “real” Tsou Rin, iff Lapis grows a heart and loves Kazuma, man that would be a great story. Since it would be cool to see what Kazuma would do as well as Ayano, lol i can imagine the both of them fighting over Kazuma, or the usual cliche about the two of them fighting fairly by starting over to win over the current “Kazuma Yagami”.

For what happened about Ayano so called “stopping” Kazuma, well she didnt do it directly by herself, but it’s more like Ren who did the strongest effect. Since Ren helped her out, he was injured by Kazuma, which causes him to lose his will to fight, and thus Ayano kept yelling him until he regains back his usual self.

Though I hope that it ends in ep.23 about them so called “stopping Kazuma”, since I am more interested in how Kazuma would settle it with Vernheart, and as well as Lapis. Since when he regained back to his usual self, I highly doubt that he would be able to hurt Lapis, or allow anyone to hurt her as well.

“It’s a memory of Ayano… although for the life of me I can’t remember when it happened. Call for help!
(It’s when Kazuma says that Ayano may grow up to be a fine woman.)”

    That’s episode 7 ^^

I have -no- idea why so many people hate this show. I love it – I don’t really know why, but I love it.

You’re right about Kazuma and Ayano, they changed each other. Kazuma changed for the better after meeting Ayano, and Ayano developed her powers from direct and indirect tutorage from Kazuma.

And I also can’t get myself to hate or dislike Ayano. I am the type of person who dislikes very few things but even if I wasn’t that type of girl I’m sure I would have liked Ayano anyway. Her flaws are what makes her more of a realistic character, and she is a nice change from Kazumas I’m-so-cool type of persona xD
