So I have been crushed under the weight of my crusade against the hideous beast that is known as a fiscal year close out. Indeed it is more terrible than the Soviet Nuclear Dragon for it comes every year and can never truly be killed. One would think that the over abundance of money is a good thing, but this is the Federal Government of the United States any money that is not spent is lost through the mists of time never to be seen or heard from again. Suffice to say spending money like a madman doesn’t make for much free time away from a military workstation and filling out forms and signing mountains of documents. Still my last day is tomorrow and lo’ and behold what has happened…
So Itou lives for a few more days thanks to the irresponsible actions of some idiot teenager who stands accused of murder after confessing to axing her (Heidi) father, a 45 year old constable who could not shoot straight. Great one emo fucker saves the greatest evil in the anime world by doing something utterly unforgivable. Forgive me for not making any pretense that I care, for I don’t. Actually while this was a tragic event I have seen much worse in my years and somewhere along the way I just accepted the fact that these base creatures known as emotional teenagers humans will be killing one another on a daily basis. This accused girl even if she manages to prove her innocence shall forever be known to me as Jap Heidi for like that blasted swiss girl from that damned book that killed the broadcast of one of the greatest American Football Games in history this Jap Heidi robbed us all of a most long awaited death.
I have to say though to bring broadcasting to a grinding halt over this seems a bit pretentious to me. It’s not like this incident (innocent until proven guilty) was unique. Though the publicity I think must be largely due to the fact that the father was a cop. It’s almost as if those networks are saying that the memory of it will only last a week… Also that program was terrible and the music sucked. Nice Boat though.
In any case I am nearing a breaking point and will extend the deadline for the contest until the end of the month so I can have a summer vacation of an underwhelming 7 days as I pour over the entries. In the mean time I would like to thank all three of you who bothered to send an e-mail and will reply properly to the lot of you as soon as liberty is granted (if you don’t receive a confirmation e-mail send it in again as Impz attracts spam like he does lolis). I am pleased with the two of you who recognized the German origins of some of the AFVs (armored fighting vehicles). As for those of you who were blissfully unaware if any three of you are the only ones to e-mail me by the 30th of September you will get one free volume for pulling out an answer that merely has the word “tank”…

Ach…..I knew they were german.My problem was that I was convinced that they ere all german.It didn’t make any sense so I gave up.
Ah I’m sorry Crusader, I wanted to enter but I really have been swamped.
But hopefully we have the problem at work licked and I’ll have more free time.
Trust me I think I’d actually have preferred researching for your competition than I would have been trying to locate the source of our psuedomonas outbreak.
It didn’t help that the people we pay to help us with such things were really no help. Instead of helping us try to narrow down the source all we kept getting from them is make your surgeries more sterile.
Like I use dirty equipment. Frankly I’m offended. Especially since all the cultures taken from the incision sites came back clean. Because I clean incision sites exactly how I’m supposed to!!!!
Gaaaaaaah! Well now they are super, super, super sterile. So we’ll see…
Sorry didn’t mean to rant. On the plus side I do feel better now. ^-^
But I have a spare scalpel handy if you want me to kill Itou for you! Since they are being so slow about it and all.

I actually have the names down for that tank thing, school got in the way of me actually trying to write something up. But, if the word tank is all I need for a volume of manga, I’m going to send something in. Probably just a list. I’m pretty confident on most of the tanks, but there are one or two I’m shaky on.

A list is good, but picking a favorite does help even if you base it off some wrong guesses. Really if you have a favored AFV you can’t be that far off…
@ Crusader, they so are! I mean we did a full clean down, put up filters. And we were still finding it.
It doesn’t help the stuff practically grows everywhere and there are only about 5 antibiotics that will work on it, and it can be resistant to those even!

Would the finale of School Days be released on DVD… if TV fails to air the episode?
It would be a shame to leave the series unfinished, maybe years later I’ll find the School Days episode 12 floating on the internet, and faintly remembers that it was a strange anime which I saw back in 2007.
I dunno if my un-educated prediction of the School Days ending is accurate, but here goes:
Katsura found out about Sekai’s baby.. she resorted to violence (*cough knife *cough) as a solution and compensation to her grief. As it was Sekai’s seduction which led Makoto down the road of no-return.
Sekai either dies or… would be near death before Makoto shows up. Makoto’s reaction would be obvious however I still think that there is significant uncertainty in determining whether he lives or dies. Consider how selfish he was before…
I saw in news somewhere that Episode 12 contains teenager committing violence in attempt murder.
