Guess who this cute specimen of a chibi doll is!
I’ve got to say… it’s so much easier blogging a series when the English subs are all. I don’t have to short-circuit my mind coming out with approximately accurate English rendering of Japanese names, nor wonder if I’ve translated correct.
This week is a bit of a transition episode, in that Shito is still not rescued even at the end of the episode. However, we have a couple of revelations revealed, and in the meantime, we meet another new character as well as an almost new character. The latter is this chibi doll… 3 guesses on who he is!
On a completely unrelated note, I can’t believe Luciano Pavarotti has passed away. I can only wish him peace and music wherever he might be.
Summary in a Very Small Nutshell…
I think Chika in his chibi form is cute… and so is most of the other characters. Probably one of the best things for Zombie Loan is the way to go chibi at the slightest provoking.

1) Chika, Soutetsu and Michiru meet said new character Koume and said almost new character, the Shinigami Zarame (English Subs: Grim Reaper, although IMO any devoted anime fan for more than 2 weeks should know what that word means) whom we have met when he grabbed Shiba. I watched this just before bedtime yesterday.
Poor hubby-sama, I came in squeeing and saying that when it comes out and it will come out I must have a chibi Zarame plushie! ^-^

I want to delude myself too, because I don’t want to believe Shito would hold his mommy like that. Its just too icky!
I’m so sad there’s only 1 ep left… it seems like it will be ending prematurely, and when watching EP10, there was enough plot left to go 24… oh well; time to finish Gurren Lagann.

O, derf… I just looked it up. I didn’t think it would be that short… I swore it was a 26 episode series…

When Little Miss Frankenzombie first appeared, YamiKakyuu and I both said that she reminded us of Michiru. Now that Shito has thought she reminded him of someone, I’m even more convinced that the resemblence to Michiru is not accidental. I’m flattered that you liked my name for Little Miss Frankenzombie so much you chose to use it.
I’m in the Shito loves his Mommy-A-Little-Too-Much camp. His childhood must have been so screwed up — having been born a living corpse and all. You know the expression “a child only a mother could love”? I think Mother was the only person who ever showed Shito affection in his whole long life. So I’m not surprised that he would feel unnaturally close to her in return.
Otsu’s flame always reminds me of Chidori from Naruto for some reason XD

It seems that Little Miss Frankenzombie and Michiru remind Shito of the same person, which Im assuming is his mother…(gah she was pregnant for 7 years!!! uguu~~~) He’d give Freud a nice case study…Im hoping we get back story in epi 11.
Also Chibi!Shito was also cute!!
It seems his mom…but i don’t want it to be…the scene is awkward type. If that scene was missing there was no problem with the mom.
I don’t no where they are going Little Miss Frankenzombie…maybe she will be sum kind of help next epi.

I have to agree that the passing away of Luciano Pavarotti is hard to take in. He has been a part of my music life for as long as I can remember. What a voice, it is going to be some time before we see another as great as him.
You know, I think one of the random interesting parts was how Michiru can understand Zarame. When Koume says that no one else (I mean to their knowledge and all) can understand him, along with her eyes, I wonder if they will expound on it. What if she is meant for something close to a Shinigami since she can see the rings and talk with him. Sad, I wish this show was longer, because there are a whole lot of questions I WANT ANSWERED!
Season 2?..
Zarame in chibi is all sorts of cute!! I still think the woman’s his mother (I might just go and check the credits again XD), although the scene makes me feel a little weirded out if that really is the case.
I hope there’ll be a Season 2. It’s far too short, and the manga covers pretty interesting things afterwards from what I’ve browsed through…

It is the Shinigami, or the Grim Reaper. His core has been taken and he has no body, but he is soooooooooo cute and Michiru gets stabbed in the head with his scythe! But he is still so cute! He looks a bit evil when he has got his core!
But Michiru can understand his shreiks because she has the Shinigami eyes!
Oops! I forgot to read the other posts! Has anybody not watched Zombie Loan? HAs anyone read the manga?
