Many people have already blogged about this series, but I find it an absolute need to say at least something about this quirky anime series. It will really do little justice to the series that made me laugh after a tiring work day. I nearly spitted out the kiwi that I was eating while watching it, since it was making me laugh a little too much for my liking.
This anime about bacteria is just about the best spice to have after all the usual plot that we have been viewing. I always like to have something of a different side of life, and this is perhaps one of the best series to chill out and learn a little about bacteria while laughing along as well. I find many of the ridiculous conversations in this anime to be rather unique in its premise. Hence, if you are willing to forgive the slightly average graphics, this show is a must watch among the usual fare of lolicon, shounen and mecha shows in this season.

I actually was pretty looking forward to this one seeing how
many shows this autumn season actually turn out pretty good ( well according to my weird taste)
was watching genshiken S1 to prepare myself for genshiken S2 previously
Genshiken S1 was sooo funny haha , except for perharps ep 9 which haha in a way is soo sad about otaku guys.. or maybe just guys in general.

@neko79: Arr, i still have not gotten the chance as yet to take a look at genshiken 2. However, considering my earlier reservation about the first season, I doubt that I will fully enjoy the series. I guess I never really embrace much of that otaku culture that much, especially since it feels a bit too extreme and all.

This anime is really good! It’s funny and really entertaining. I found the second episode to be somewhat boring, but it made up for it in the third.
Very unique humor!
I really like the main hero, whose name escapes me at the time. He’s really cute and reminds me a little of Kawachi from Yakitate Japan. Just a toned down version really.
