I sit at home and watch Anime on Friday Nights!

Igunis

Well, I’m officially the n00b rookie of the THAT Blog team now. Entering the second semester of my senior year in high school, Senioritis has begun to kick in and leaves me with nothing worthwhile to do (aside from keeping my grades from dropping below the C range of course). So, what better way to waste time than to torment readers with my random ramblings about 2d women and Lolis. I’m the self-proclaimed Otaking of my school, although all of my friends are often ashamed to be seen around me. Interestingly enough though, I seem to be the only asian anime fan of everyone that I know, as the people I “should” be hanging around with as my friends tell me, are the pale white kids who dye their hair different colors every week and put metal claws on their fingers…yes…claws…

My journey to otakudom a couple of years ago, when I was still a healthy, young boy in middle school. I became obsessed with Pokemon and Yu-gi-Oh (Oh, the shame) and I had hundreds of binders filled up with cards. Unfortunately, my brothers broke a thermometer and spilled mercury on all my cards so I never gained a profit off of them, -.-. I try, emphasis on try, to widen my anime genres, in an attempt to not be the generic shounen action fanboy (LOLOL NARUTARD), but I admit that the only anime’s that I can sit through a marathon and watch are Harem animes and typical shounen anime, such as Bleach. I literally have to strap myself to the seat once something called “plot and character development” is seen. However, most of my favorites aren’t found in those categories much to my surprise. A couple of memorable animes’ for me are Suzuka, Gurren Lagann, Mahoromatic, and The Ugly Yet Beautiful World (<3 Gainax). My guilty pleasures are Shoujo Romance Anime's (CURSE YOU KARE KANO) and I can never watch sad anime in public due to my excessive amount of tears...BUT THEY ARE MANLY TEARS I SAY...I swear, I once used up an entire tissue box on one anime (Koi Kaze, if anyone is interested).

My dream in life is to find some rich, sexy, well endowed Japanese woman who is a doctor (although a lawyer works too). We will have 2 kids, both named after Disney characters (lol, Esmeralda and Quasimodo), and I will be a housedad for life. We will live in Japan, where my dream of owning a maid cafe will become a reality...MWAHAHAAAAAAAA...anyways, most likely if you are still reading this you have nothing better to do and you are wondering when I will say anything meaningful. Unfortunately for you, my warped sense of humor will live on FOREVER IN MY ENTRIES AND THERE IS NOTHING, NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT, NANANANA-ok I'm done.

Oh yeah, I'm 17, so even though I may act like a fool...uh...I'm 17.

Drama Ohohoho!

    Now, this is truly epic?
So was it a failed attempt of your brother trying to shove the thermometer up your ass? =D

@ lawliet: haha, no, considering that they’re 6 years younger than me, it was more of my trying to find the glass shards to put in their food.

If I ever read another post like this I’ll be unsubscribing from THAT’s feed.

    Disgraceful.

I’ve come to enjoy the articles on this animeblog, especially those by Crusader and Calawain, but the above is absolutely disgraceful.

Igunis, I look forward to you proving me a fool by writing some excellent articles – not this self-indulgent, scattered, stream-of-consciousness drivel of an introductory post.

    Welcome !

About your attitude, keep it simple, interesting and comprehensive as you did, and you will be a pleasing character to read.

Welcome! Have to say atleast that much.

Intresting post though. And don´t worry about your age, I know of older people who behave more like children than you do. If everything else fails you still have some years to age before finding your style in writting.

You say that as though 17 years olds were not generally a foolish, incoherent lot altogether.

I’m 17 and I’m not incoherent! My handwriting is barely legible but the language I use does makes sense! And foolish doesn’t really match my personality…
    So don’t insult teenagers!
Not all of them fall under your category- garh. I’m annoyed now :(

@Igunis: Welcome and looking forward to some more posts from you.

Uhm, I’m sorry, what did I do wrong exactly? An introduction post doesn’t exactly have a clear format 0o
