As you can tell, Ghost Hound and Saiunkoku Monogatari have not been updated as yet on the blog. In fact, I have been replying much less this week. This is caused by the evil exam script marking that I have to do for the past few days. As I am a Master’s student, I have to do quite a bit of marking for my lecturers (who are even worse off since they nearly died. I cannot say more due to privacy issues and it is perhaps for another time). After that, I got hooked onto Civilization 4 and I even played it up to 5 am yesterday when it is the time allocated for the Saimono entry.
As such, I just started writing the Saiunkoku Monogatari summary and it should be done by tomorrow.
In addition, I will do a glance through Episode 6 of Ghost Hound (I have not watched it yet) and then go to Episode 7. Do not be surprised if I skip through Episode 6 since I hate to do backlog summaries. I also want to rant it out that it is getting annoying for me to make home deliveries from fast food restaurants.
In the past two months, I have called in to five restaurants (Sappiro, McDonalds, Pizza Hut, Canadian Pizza and Oishi Pizza) to make deliveries. Today, I called in KFC to treat my parents since I am earning a decent stipend. What annoyed me is that all these 6 call ins ADDRESSED ME AS A “MISS”. I have never been so bloody pissed until now. I am wondering if they are all trying to make a dig at me for being a “trap in the anime blogosphere”. Anyway, it is getting to me quite a bit, so it is just a random rant.
I thank you all for the patience, and the next week will also be a horrid time for me as the work pile continues to build up.

@Zeuslrae: Arr, i deleted the game because my computer cannot take the powers of the game (ya, cos my current pc is rather junkish). I am currently playing civilization III, since the requirements are much lower.

But we got Mario Galaxy the other week so a fair bit of my free time has been spent on the Wii.

I’m presuming Civilasation 4 is a strategy game of sorts- maybee since my brother is hooked on them… I only play stuff like Dynasty Warriors since its the only games where my skills is matched to my brother- I’m more of manga crazy persion

Alsooo WORST THING EVER
Went shopping with my mum and someone thought I was HER mother. That must mean I’d looked like a 60 year old (I was 14 at the time probably)
Nowadays we look like sisters (me and my mum) since my mum has a proper baby face and for a 17 year old I have a very old fashioned looking face

Basically I have a age and gender problem…
However looking slightly older isn’t that bad- I mean when I’m lost in my town centre( I have no sense of direction- I mean it) some kind old lady would lead me the way (I’ve been asked by old grannies for maybe the 4rd time in my life ‘Are you alright sweetheart?’ I must look un-loacal but hurrah I don’t look like a delinquient at the very least)
I’ve never been able to play a Civ game, ever since… Civ 2, I think, the first one I tried.

In Civ 4 they greatly expanded the peaceful ways to win the game through diplomacy, culture, and the good ole space race. So you can do without war except for defense, and it’s much harder to take over cities.

Reading your entry again, I kinda giggled when you “treated” your parents to KFC. Maybe that’s a Singapore thing, if I treated my mother to KFC she would throw it at me.
Last time I treated my parents was 3 years ago, in an Italian restaurant; me, my mom and my Dad. You would think, as I did before going there, you’d pay not more than 200 $, right? I think not!
They ordered the most expensive things on the menu so I had to pay with my credit card. 420 $ + tab.
That was the last I ever invited them anywhere. Not that I don’t like them, far from it, but I need to have a decent job to tackle their taste!
About the PC games, I got this crysis thing that came out a month ago, installed it and put everything on medium setting. My computer didn’t even try, it restarted itself X___X
I looked at the back of the box and saw: “SLI recommended”; I decided to return the game the day after. I’m sticking with my PS3.
