The release of Dark Tamaki – Never make a docile swordswoman angry

How dare you try to injure my Tamaki with despicable means!

I usually do not blog about Bamboo Blade, even though I am always raving over the comedy and the lovely characters in the kendo club. However, after a period of rather peaceful and boring cameos of Tamaki, she suddenly returns into the main frame with the battle with an absolute bitch who does everything against the rules to win. Gamesmanship is one thing but the way she tries to beat Tamaki is way beyond the limits of honorable gamesmanship. I know I have watched this particular scene 15 times, but every inch of my skin still stands in fear every single time I see the dark Tamaki.

After the break is a long chunk of images showing the key scenes in that battle. GO, DARK TAMAKI!

Spoilers are from Episode 17, so those who have not watched it should not venture further unless you wish to be spoiled by the awesomeness of Tamaki.

The ki from the shout emits an aura of fear around a 20′ radius

The glow of redness, a sign of danger, appears. It’s time to kill.

As Tamaki’s aura spreads, she grows in strength as well, intimidating the enemy into submission

@Totali: YES, YOU ARE GOING TO WATCH IT BECAUSE I ORDER YOU SO by the powers of tamaki-sama! You do not have any rights to deny her!

@Onizuka: Tell me about it. Miya miya’s dark side is not really too menacing but Tamaki in her dark mode made my hair stand O_O. It’s so scary but I kept watching it. On this count, it’s at the 22th time.

lol i kinda feel sorry for the birds that flew away when Tama chan shouted also when the opponent was starting to shout also and Tama chan the proper way of shouting was like “your already owned you know”

@Onizuka: You know, I actually like the part when Tama screamed with her ki, and then her eyes glow with fire. I am like “this is the part to queue the Griever song right now, or some random shounen mecha song for parody”. Ya, strange, but I actually feel just a tad disappointed that it did not happen X_X

The best part has to be when Tamaki went all, “Are you alright?” on her opponent, like a sarcastic throwback against her, especially since her opponent did the exact same thing moments ago. Groovy. What a great burn.

    Cheers.

@voodoomage: I wish that she will break her neck or something. Yes, i am a very evil person who wishes to see all the bitches who try to lay a hand on my Tamaki-sama. it’s also amazing because it is only in high skilled dan matches that you ever see a Tsuki since an amateur attempt can cause serious injury, including death from the attack of the throat @_@

@Skane: oh yes, due to the fact that I did not want to spam the blog with images, I did not include that. However, I think it’s her expression to return everything with some cruel vindication that caught the eye of the teacher. I am very sure that he’s somewhat displeased that she allows her own emotions to deal such a dangerous attack on an opponent, despite the fact that I personally think that the bitch should suffer more pain.

    Burn, burn, burn!
