A little commentary after the jump. Read it faggots.
I assume you’re all familiar with the “Choose Your Own Adventure” series of books that were all the rage a decade or so ago. If you’re not, the concept is simple: the book isn’t read in order, but instead at the end of each page, you have a number of choices that would direct you to different pages – and a different outcome.
What I’m trying to do here is the same thing, except you too can take a role in the creative process! Pick a choice every time a new comic is finished, and I’ll try to take the idea that’s most popular and run with it. I have as much idea about where the story is going as you do, so I think this will be a fun little exercise. Well, maybe not so little. Even though it’s the poll that will ultimately decide where the story goes next, if you have an interesting idea, do post a comment and tell me about it. If it’s good, and your choice wins, your idea will be immortalised as part of the Trap Impz Saga.
I’m using Impz here because I am boring and unoriginal, but with your input, who knows where the story will go?
By the way, this first choice is completely artificial, since I already know what the next strip is going to be. I gotta introduce some other characters you know, otherwise the story could end up stuck on an eternal Impz monologue.
This is also a way to test the waters, so to speak. This is a lot of work for me; this one strip took me 3 hours (I’m still experimenting with the format, and hopefully as I get better with my tablet that time will become much shorter). So if you like it and want to see where it can go from here, leave a comment, and pick a choice! Without your support, this project won’t work, and I’ll have to abort it.
Finally, a little about the drawing(s). I copy-pasta’d the comic, so that saved me a bit of time. Hopefully in the future I can do it all freehand. As for the illustration, I’m still not satisfied with Trimpz’s design. Trimpz is, in my mind, much younger than this. Maybe 6-8 (he’s supposed to be a loli-trap, remember), and the proportion in this illustration makes him look like a middle schooler. Oh well, guess I will just have to keep working at it.

impz was turned into the trap when his blog was first launched and he had friends/ex-writers who gave him plentiful of nicknames, and amongst which, trap.
And thus with the help of his random, friendly and lovable friends, he acquired a brand new identity that he is still embracing today.
Be thankful jannifer.
