This week’s Impz looks quite different from last week’s, and looks more like what I had in mind. From now on I’ll be striving to draw Impz in this kind of proportions. Only problem is that I suck at drawing consistently or drawing anatomy at all, so having a consistent character to work on should help me improve.
Characterisation needs work too. In my mind now Impz is a narcissist, who acts like a cute, charming little girl in front of others. Rake isn’t going to be perverted, but I really have no idea where to go with him. Yeah, I know, I can’t write a story for shit. Anyone want to volunteer?
Oh, and the way I arrange the frames and so on needs work too. This weeks’ frames are way too small, and arranging the frames with the drawing and the title text is a bitch. I need to come up with some sort of standardised format. Drawing comics: Serious business.
A question for all of you: would you like to see the comic or the illustration coloured? It’ll be even more work for me, but hey, if enough people want it (OVER 9000!) I may do it.

i voted for scream like a girl. that would strengthen his character as a trap rather than going for violence. whatever happens after he screamed could be another choice.
he screamed first then shook the rake off his wits before j-j-j-jamming it inthe frames? i find the first issue’s arrangement and size of the frames adequate. Make the main Impz caricature colored for emphasis. I prefer doodles with a little shading for texture for the rest of the strip itself.
