You already know our choices for the spring season. It is time for you, our readers, to tell us why we should blog a certain anime. Of course, we cannot give any definite guarantee . Leave us a comment, tell us why you want a certain blogger to blog a series and I can try threatening appealing to that blogger to do that series in the coming spring season.
For the benefit of those who have not read the extremely long spring season preview, there is a summary of the series that each blogger in T.H.A.T Anime Blog is interested to blog. This is not a final list, as we will always want to watch a few episodes before committing to a series. In addition, for those who have expressed interest to blog for the coming spring season, do email us using the contact form above! We always welcome new bloggers…happily.
Impz: Vampire Knight, Special A, Allison to Lillia, Toshokan Sensou

Impz fails at copy-paste so I gotta go and fix stuff for him again, see the work this guy puts me through?
I see that certain writers are blogging/are interested in the same shows. I suggest a so-called “conversation” post, where writers watching the same show can post together, giving their thoughts and opinions — and idiocies — on the strengths and weaknesses of the show. It makes the blog feel more lively and interesting.
And a chance for a fantasy pairing between writers! (*^^*)
I wonder who will pair up with the resident trap Impz.
Can someone give me the source of the picture?
Mm….it’s great that Impz’s interested in blogging Toshokan Sensou…it’s my most anticipated show for some reason. Hope it’s not a letdown.
Nabari no Ou looks quite promising, great character designs and the plot sounds just fun. It’s one of the shows I’m most looking forward to. It’d be a shame if nobody blogged it.
Nabari no Ou and Himitsu Top Secret reviews rather than blogging regularly about it would be nice..
And the BL ones but that won’t happen I guess – it is kinda embarassing to write about the stuff in Junjou Romantica >0
This would actually be easier to answer after the spring season starts. Since one can’t really know how a series is going to turn out. Take True Tears, for example.
In any case, I must admit I’m a bit surprised to see no one planning to blog Crystal Blaze. Other than that, everything else fits my list almost perfectly. Kudos!
what about Itazura na Kiss? pretty please?
S.A. is the series I most want blogged, but I think I implied that already in the Spring Preview comments. Although I would love to read your blogs for Vampire Knight, I’m afraid the visitor comments may contain manga spoilers for the US release. VK is one of those manga series where the Japanese releases are followed very closely. However, I want to wait until I read the chapters in English. This means I have to be careful what I read concerning VK. I fear someone will post manga spoilers about VK in their comments without properly using the spoilers button. So I may end up avoiding the VK anime blog posts altogether to keep from learning manga spoilers.
As for titles not mentioned in your list, Monochrome Factor and Nobari no Ou are the two shows that most intrigue me. I would love to see blogs on those if any of your bloggers are interested. (But I’m guessing no one is otherwise they’d already be on the list.)
How about blogging something completely different from usual? For example, Himitsu – Top Secret. Or try giving Kaiba a chance, despite its unusual art-style.
I am thinking about seconding Itakiss, the only problem is, it can be LOOOONG. I might just give it a try myself — at least the first few episodes.
I could use some feedback here. Due to the circunstances I told you before, my Winter anime posts went Kaputz…And my experience is more about manga posts. I would really like to know, between Code Geass R2, Soul Eater and Amatsuki you guys would like to see blogged. (I promise I’ll try not to drop them this time >.< )
I would like you to blog SA – Special A. Its like my favorite manga…..please.
Nabari no Ou, please! The manga is great and I love the art style. It would be really nice to see it blogged.
@Ruk:Me or Igunis could do it; I’ll just slap him until he drops Tower of Druaga :-p
yotsunoha, please! thanks!
I’d love to see a post (or a few) about Nabari no Ou..! The manga is pretty great. Not like Naruto at all! And maybe have a go at Wagaya no Oinarisama ? The light novel looked pretty cool, so maybe the anime won’t be so bad…
Also, really glad to see that Special A, Allison&Lillia, and Toshokan Sensou are possible going to be blogged!
@bamboowitch, Kibou, Calaveth: Interesting seeing so much interest for Nabari no Ou. I’m also interested but adding it would leave me with 4 animes -.-Y
Oh decisions, decisions…..Only 4 weeks left.
Itazura na Kiss would be good. It was apparently quite popular.
And also apparently is one of those tragic manga that has no ending because the manga-ka died in an accident before she could finish it. *tear*
But from the info I gleaned from the ‘net, there is more than enough manga material to make a full 26 episodes, at least.
In my opinion,
Nabaru No ou: I will never blog a shounen series. Has anyone seen me attempt to blog a shounen series? It is disastrous because I do not know how to describe all the battle scenes. I am not going to show you my failures in the blog ^^
Allison to Lillia: Out of the four choices, this is the most flimsy and I will be likely to drop it in a flash once I cannot cope. Since I am currently having fun with SA’s manga (I really get irritated over Hikari) and I am going $#^#$^#$^ with Vampire Knight’s current manga plots, they are still likely to be blogged ahead. Library Wars is truly a mystery but information as a commodity and other theories revolving information will allow me to tap on my research interests.
@TP: We will, do not worry. ^^ it’s a coming feature to lead up to the coming spring season. ^^ I am already discussing ^+^
I wouldn’t let writing talents botch anyone’s effort to blog. I don’t think they need overelaboration really. Picture captions can work just fine as well.
Really, all I wish out of anime bloggers is to give the lesser known and less conventional a fair shake and not be too biased against them. Then again, that seems to be the status quo most of the times. But I’ll remain hopeful.
Impz, I challenge you to blog Junjou Romantica! hahahaha
*calls out to Briar*
that, or I’ll ask Briar to blog it instead
Here!
If I can take it, I just might.
At least for an episode or two. After all, Crusader assumed that I might. I wouldn’t want to disappoint anyone.
Muahahahaha.
But if Impz decides to blog it, I will graciously withdraw.
Muahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.
@Usagijgen: I will actually. My girlfriend compels me to blog at least one episode of it. I guess I will gamely agree ^^
Zettai Karen Children: Because the concept sounds hilariously cute.
Nabari no Ou: very funny, not afraid to make fun of BL and definitely not your typical shounen XD
Wagaya no Oinari-sama: I think gender-benders are AWESOME, and there are hardly any with fox ears…
Kyouran Kazoku Nikki: The sounds like it’s going to be a hilarious and original series. Shame if it wasn’t blogged…
Himitsu Top Secret: Another interesting concept, I reallly like the idea and would like to know if it’s actually good.
1. Code Geass – Lelouch of the Rebellion II
2. Macross Frontier
3. Druaga no Tou – The Aegis of Uruk
4. S.A
5. Chi’s Sweet Home
6. Itazura na Kiss
7. Himitsu – Top Secret
8. Junjo Romantica
9. Library Wars
10. Crystal Blaze
11. Real Drive
choose any from the above and I’ll be content
Extrange, drop Code Geass, add Nabaru. Simple.
Soul Eater is the only thing I’m for certain to blog. It will most likely be shared with a ton of other people though. I still need to catch up with H2O…
I would have appealed for Kyou Kara Maoh, but as you have previously posted, none of the members of the team has watched any of its seasons add to the fact that it has a lot of shounen-ai slurs and a very strong yaoi-ish feel. But then, none of it is really as how it is being shown. It’s all for comic relief. The thing that captures me most in this anime is the comedy. Add the politics behind the plots and the scheme of the grand puppeteer called the “great one”, it comes out as a very entertaining anime with pretty boys abound. I would want to blog the episodes, only that I really suck at meeting journal deadlines because,
as the most common cliche goes, work (and/or) school gets in the way.well anyway, I’d wait for whatever comes out. Just pleeeease make sure Macross Frontier is in your list.
@usagijen… would you be blogging KKM over at scrumptious?
ummm………………
@Impz- you are right! i’ve never seen(read) anybody as dense as Hikari. i mean one of my bffs is REALLY dense. she’s like the densest in my whole school but she is soooo cute and smart so a lot of the guys like her….. but i mean Hikari is……….. wow…. i’m sorry but thats all i can say but i REALLY hope you will blog for SA when it comes out… thankies.
Heeeh..?? Nobody gonna take KKM (Kyou Kara Maou) ?
please…this one may not very great but it’s such a peacefull story
i love it
Nabari No Ou and Vampire Knight
