In case you find things rather boring lately, I’ve been thinking for a while to do this. Originally the vote of President in Cross Academy, now it’s the Fight of the Fans: Zero VS Kaname! (Now that Democracy Rules!)
If you like Zero, please vote for him. And if you like Kaname better, vote for him too. The poll will start now and will stop after 31 May 2008. Results will be mentioned in mid-June (Due to some reasons and I’m going off for a vacation.) But for Impz and I we prefer Zero but it’s up to you to decide. Their fate in in YOUR hands!

I vote for Zero. Kaname is WAYYY to suspicous, controling, and creepy. Zero has gone through alot! i mean come on he loses, his parents, he thought he lost his brother, his brother comes back and later actually dies, and lost his love. Both have sad pasts but i think Zero’s is worse. Zero respects Yuki’s love for Kaname and he is just so sweet, caring, and protective. And he is super hot and badass haha

I agree that it should be Zero. I believe that both vampires have their points and they’re both hot. I don’t think hotness should be a factor in this. Kaname is so sneaky and secretive its hard to trust him. Zero makes it known there’s a secret and leaves it at that. He’s not as affectionate and has sworn to make an enemy of Yuuki because that’s what his beliefs say. He stays true to how he always was. Kaname is very manipulative. What was with making her wear heels and giving her those ‘strange’ permissions to go out with Artemis. Why not just say it? Zero does just outright say things. I like that. However, Kaname is very sweet and she knows he cares for her. But its steeped in secrecy, which is not a great thing for Yuuki who grew up clouded in mystery. Zero’s love is unwanted, but at least he is always there for her (helping her after that graveyard incident). And personally, I think he wanted her to bite him since its the vampiric form of affection! Anyway, that’s my long drawn out complicated way of looking at both vampires. I want her with Zero because that’s who I would choose personally. But she seems to like complexity so who knows if she will choose Kaname. Besides they now have a long standing relationship.
PS Does anyone think its weird that she’s so shy about him undressing her after that whole memory reveal thing? They’ve been together a year…

I like zero's personality.. if you'll try to really look into his words in the manga, you'll realize a deeper message.. and another thing, he's not emo! He has that scary aura that keeps many people away, but it's just because he's greatly marked by his tragic past..

In terms of characters Kaname wins out. He defines mystery and exudes power. It’s those elements which draw a perceived complexity to his nature. Zero’s character is like beating a dead cat. It seems as if the more he moves forward the less he actually progresses.

Definitely Kaname, because he’s real and practical, he’s subtle enough for politics. He has a sharp mind and the guts to do what needs to be done instead of being squeamish like a self-pitying martyr. I repspect that in a person, it takes a lot of stregth of character to do that. And technically speaking, they aren’t quite siblings, he’s her ancestor, and so I’d equate that to distantly related, ever heard of the term kissing cousins? Zero’s all right, but he really ought to quit the self-pity, it rather unmans him.
BOTH! Younger Kaname was so cute! He was nice and sweet…but then he got really jealous and controlling so Zero is better now.

How can you love someone cold as much as that guy ”Kaname” after he had used everyone to reach his goal and get what he wants? Selfish much? Is it me or people these days are crazy for these cold anime characters? Seriously Zero is fucking way much better (besides he is hot ) I haven’t seen someone as much nice as him .Like really? Who was the one always there for Yuuki to cry on his shoulder when she wanted to know about her past?ZERO. Who was the one always protecting Yuuki? ZERO. Who was the one taking care of her every single day and minuted? ZERO. Who listens Yuuki’s problems when this certain person always noticed her sad expression? ZERO. Who was always real and honest with Yuuki? ZERO. Who never hurted Yuuki? And I say what did Kaname do to Yuuki? At the first place he uses his friends to protect ”His percious thing” In fact he tried to blame shisuka death on Zero but later the truth came alone on it’s own still though he hided that thing all that time long.He is the worst always trying to make Zero’s life a living hell,I dislike Kaname ,That guy doesn’t love anyone and I don’t think he really do love Yuuki as his ”Lover” his feeling towards her is more like of a caring brother which what are they anyway,SIBLINGS. I definitely like Zero a lot more :3 I dunno, he’s just really cool and I love his gun xD Even though he uses it way too much lol. And I also feel bad for him too. Kaname’s cool and all, but throughout the manga I felt like he was getting more and more suspicious, especially after when Yuuki became a vampire. So there. And also the whole sibling love thing is kinda weird to be honest. If Yuuki and Kaname get together in the end, I’m gonna be really upset D:
