Ah the bitterness of finals how well I know it and how much I loathe it. Kotoko and her class are indeed pathologically stupid, but I guess that is why they have to make up for it a low cunning. Except of course Kin-chan whose ambition in life is incredibly simple, everyone else on the other hand has a burning desire to get into college.

So Kotoko and her friends decide to form a study group, sadly their collective cognitive abilites are not match for the plethora of subjects they must master. In then end the habitually petition for Naoki’s help despite his initial refusals until he can resist no more and ends up solving the whole book for them. Emboldened by their success the rest of F-class infiltrated the Irie home in groups of one to two million at a time to get their answers. Irie was compelled to fulfill their will as he was but one against many. Had he refused he and his ugly shouta would have been torn to ribbons and then devoured by F-class to try and gains tome genius genes.
It’s the thought that counts right?

In the end the operation was a success and most of F-class was able to pass. Their futures assured they set out to gift Naoki-hime something. Kotoko works hard to get gifts for the family and shells out a lot for Naoki-hime. F-class gets Naoki-hime a modern art Kotoko which he has to keep. Kotoko gets him a bracelet or as I call it a wrist collar. Being the thoughtless twit that he is Naoki-hime has no gifts to give on Christmas, and neither does that Yuki fag, so Machiko makes him take a picture with Kotoko. Sadly in his tsun tsun insolence he ruined it by whispering something in Kotoko’s ear rather than nibble on it…

And Kotoko will definitely be happy.
So Naoki seems to be falling ever so slightly for Kotoko and seems to actually want to go somewhere in life rather than just be bored out of his genius mind. I guess that they are blitzing their way through this and from what I have heard it’s not until the college arc that things get fun. At any rate Naoki-hime’s resistance is weakening and in the end Kotoko will be happy.

The ability to whisper in someone’s ear while simultaneously nibbling on it is the primary reason to learn to talk with your mouth full. Or something.
At first I was like ( ´∀`) when Naoki snuggled up to Kotoko. Then I (╬ ಠ益ಠ) when he teased her.
Sometimes, I really think that Kotoko and her gang needs to be shot dead. I really like the Kotoko x Tsunderella pairing. However, their stupidity turns me off and the fact that I hate to deal with ridiculously stupid people (I am somewhat like Naoki in that manner) makes it hard for me to empathize with them.
Other than that stubborn and silly point of mine, I must say that Itazura no kiss has brought a smile to my face. There are a lot of scenes that make me laugh out loud while I watch it with my girlfriend. I particularly like the ending scene where Naoki simply says the stuff.
The smile by Naoki from Kotoko’s gift is priceless too.
Kotoko is too cute, its the main reason I been keeping up with this show. Naoki is really annoying and Jinko might have a worse voice then Aoi Oribe WITHOUT the body. It seems the anime is on a faster pace overall as it lets you see more into Naoki’s slowly changing feelings whereas hes always a stone faced wall in the manga. Thats a good thing because I’ve been reading whats been translated so far in the manga and geez, 7 volumes later and hes still such a douche. I’ve come to appreciate the animation more after seeing how dated the manga art looks and Kotoko comes out much cuter and even Naoki comes out a little less lame, though oddly enough Kin-chan looks exactly the same, guess Kansai people can’t get any love.
Honestly… Naoki is an ass. Apart from not having any presents (probably even to his parents), he makes fun of the gifts. I know that Kotoko gave him a… very interesting present (since my grandmother has one for her arthritis) and the doll was just FUGLY, but he could have shown some appreciation. And Kotoko should have just told him that if he was being a jackass because he’s so fatigued, the gift could actually help improve his personality.

This faster pace makes me happy since, rabu rabu Naoki isn’t brought forth until later in the story.
Kin-chan has no luck in love, at least when it comes to Kotoko. Hopefully Jink will have no more reasons to shout.
