Prince Ali!
The adversary! Ali al-Sarshes!
Mike Trinity, wishes that he, was half as crazy
Well he saw the Zwei and thought “Why,–I think I’ll give it a try.”
Next thing you know, Johan’s hit the floor,
He’s got beams, GN drives
And fang-oos galore!
Takes an alias, heads up to space,
And shows Sexy Lockon what for!
Can’t flee from Prince Ali!
I would say to the Council, as I said to those who have joined this Federation: ‘I have nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears, and sweat.’ We have before us an ordeal of the most grievous kind. We have before us many, many long months of struggle and suffering. You ask, what is our policy? I can say: It is to wage war, by space, sea, land, and air, with all our might and with all the strength that God can give us: to wage war against a monstrous Kataron/Celestial Being tyranny, never surpassed in the dark, lamentable catalogue of human crime. That is our policy. You ask, what is our aim? I can answer in one word: It is victory, victory at all costs, victory in spite of all terror CB and Kataron will bring forth, victory, however long and hard the road may be; for without victory, there is no survival. – Federation President 00bama
You might as well appeal against the thunder-storm as against these terrible hardships of war. They are inevitable, and the only way the people of Azadistan can hope once more to live in peace and quiet at home, is to stop the occupation of Kurdistan, which can only be done by admitting that it began in error and is perpetuated in pride. – Prince Ali al Sarshes at the Burning of Azadid
(Apologies in advance for not having been able to answer some of the comments lately midterms are still not over for me… T_T)
Looks like you got some competition there…
Feldt was better, yellow loli is moving up on my list of people I want Prince Ali to kill or other wise violate.
What’s wrong with Saji being Saji? It’s a crime in Federation after all…
While der Fuhrer of Kataron and CB plot to take over the world, it turns out that Kataron has been hiding behind women and children by placing their military base outside of a day care center, under the pretense that they are protecting them. This is a most vile lie as those children are being prepped as suicide bombers that worship Mariana Ismail. No one in their right mind would consider Princess Poverty to be anything less than a failure of the most pathetic sort who builds monuments to her own vanity while her people starve. Clearly as these children have been raised to love Mariana this proves that Kataron has been influencing these children to be pro-poverty and anti-progress. Despite their claim to be freedom fighters they hide behind children which they raise as fanatics for the demagogue Ismail, they are a terrorist organization that pretends to provide a pittance of social services for the sake of their public image while denying the poor any real help from the Federation with their belligerent attacks on Federation Territory and attempts to capture the Federation’s colonies. Moreover the only real crime was handing over those children to the sex offender Mariana Ismail, as her embrace of the children was quite disturbing, clearly that is why she tried to bed the under aged Jihad-kun four years ago.
Look we closed down the settlements and we stopped backing incompetent regimes, blood for oil is over…it’s not our fault you lost all your money to a Nigerian E-mail scam and invested in the US Sub Prime Mortgage Market.
Amazing someone who actually believes in the propaganda!
Ismail walks warily down the street,
With the brim pulled way down low
Ain’t no sound but the sound of her feet,
Big Box of Condoms ready to go
Are you ready, Are you ready for this
Are you hanging on the edge of your seat
Out of the doorway the kid’s clothes rip
To the sound of the beat
Another one bites the dust
Another one bites the dust
And another one gone, and another one gone
Another one bites the dust
Hey, I’m gonna get you too
Another one bites the dust
Despite the lies the Federation will have none of it as Kataron had been prosecuting attacks and setting up terror cells within Federation territory nearly unfettered. While accusations of a most false sort have been leveled at the Federation and their standing policy in regards to the lawless Middle East, the GN generators merely hinder communications in regions that contain no life as much of the vast desert was created from the ignorant farming practices of Azadistani farmers who helped create the great dust bowl of 2205 that expanded the desert. The Federation does not maintain such generators in populated areas such as the hell town that the Azadistani’s call their capital. While the liars of Kataron would have us believe that generators in the middle of a lifeless desert some how hinders economic development, anyone can see that the desert of their own creation has no economic potential as they had strip mined all available resources in the 2250s.
Kataron counts many fools within its ranks as none of them suspected Saji of being evil. Indeed it was only a Feddie grunt who gave Saji a well deserved punch for being an idiot. Sergei took pity on the bastard though since Wild Bear never did like to push around weaklings. While Kataron and CB later decired this as some war crime, it’s fucking Saji. The Federation did not violate any international laws by using a bad cop good cop routine on a suspect such as Saji, but clearly CB and Kataron supporters want to make some fuss over nothing as well as give Saji another blow job…
Oh Major you never stood a chance, just wait until you meet Patrick…then you will really get jealous.
I see why Graham missed out last time…
Are you Army Strong?
Where can i get one of those?
Once the Fuhrer bunker of Klaus was discovered the A-Laws with the support of Federation regulars swung into action to kill Osama bin Klaus in his lair. The use of automatons was cleared as there were not enough men available to fight. Soma and Katie had reservations about using unmanned weapons, but given the possibility of Gundams there were not enough forces on hand to take the bunker and fight off CB’s Gundams. Mister Bushido armed with his Army of One Permit decided that he did not want to fight today and decided to leave. Soma froze up once she saw the Tachikomas in action due to the very real threat to her livelihood as automatons can kill more terrorists for a fraction of the cost of kitting her out for battle. Lyle tries in vain to open a can of whup ass as his sniper shots miss and then he whips out dual pistols for some long range shooting. Despite the loss of two pilots the A-Laws were able to wipe out many times their number in terrorists. CB, Kataron, and Saji cry unmanly tears as they cry out at the inhumanity of the A-Laws, suffice to say they totally missed the point that they did not surrender, and plum forgot that they were armed fighters and not unarmed women and children. Despite the heinous insinuations that the A-Laws had killed children, they were after all in the heart of a terrorist base and were being trained as jihad-kuns for Mariana. Moreover given how there were no bodies of children shot up by automatons they are probably fine in any case after all in a Sunrise series, no body means no death as the possibility of resurrection is almost a given. Thus any accusation over the killing of children are false, and given how Klaus survived it is clear that Klaus was hiding behind a meat shield of children if indeed an automaton had found them, which with the lack of proof is idle speculation at best and treasonous rumor at worst.
:3
Yes finally closure!
Soma is now daughter of Wild Bear. Best of luck to any would be suitors for Papa Bear will tear you to shreds if you break her heart…
Upon Mariana’s return to Azadistan the place had turned to shit, as such Prince Ali had decided that the time was ripe for the liberation of Kurdistan. After Mariana’s arrest the Federation Police withdrew at the behest of the Azadistani Parliament, after which various factions within Azadistan began killing each other to in the streets. Prince Ali after seeing such a pathetic sight decided to kill them all for being idiots. Not only were they the Azadistani enemy that had destroyed and looted his nation of Kurdistan, but were approaching him as a monument of Mammon, kowtowing before him in a revolting display of jihad-kun ignorance and heresy. As a true believer of the Prophet, Prince Ali decided that this was an affront to the grace of God and proceeded to kill all the infidels regardless of factional loyalty. The traitor Jihad-kun arrived with his Azadistani whore who was terrified and trembling at the scene of Ali’s judgment upon the heathen Azadistani.
Saji is indeed a wimp…
Give this man a pipe.
Excellent good cop mein Oberst.
Because the bad cops are just as convincing.
Impression:
I like how Sunrise is trying and failing to paint the A-Laws as the new Titans, I still see a criminal lack of civilian casualties even if the dead bodies of children was too edgy for Sunday. As such I think those brats are fine since Sunrise lacks the balls to show me their mangled corpses as proof that the A-Laws are indeed evil. Coupled with the miraculous resurrections of series past until you see a body a Sunrise Character is never dead. While Soma and Katie have issues with using automatons, Hannibal Haptism spoke the most egregious lie of all, that having a human do the killing (or in his case a Gundam) is some how more humane and responsible than using AI controlled machines. Such a crock of bullshit made me gag, there were after all unrepentant killers in the SS who survived, and to be frank Imperial Japanese Veterans themselves are proof positive that having a human pull the trigger does not mean they will all regret it. Really what is the difference if I kill you with a sniper shot or with a time bomb? Will you know the difference? Hell will you even live long enough to care? I wonder what kind of bullshit hierarchy of killing they have at Sunrise, perhaps only Gundams can kill without it being crime. I guess killing a Feddie is fine and dandy but kill some one from Kataron then it’s some how evil and constitutes a war crime. Just because Kataron forgot about RPG-7s and did not use cover does not make automatons any more of a WMD than a Gundam. It’s not like having Gundams makes things a fair fight anyway.
Mein Gott! Lousie is now more man than Saji.
I cannot wait to see Louise in action again, she might even kill Saji!
Clean killing bullshit aside the use of day care in a terrorist cell or what ever polite term you prefer was rather stupid on the part of Kataron. They put those kids in greater risk by keeping them holed up along with all their heavy weapons, and as such Kataron was hiding behind them under some pretense of protection. I have yet to see the Federation or the A-Laws kidnapping kids, the HRL has been dead for 4 years and right now the only people hiding behind children is Kataron. It’s like putting a SAM site on top of an apartment building it does not make Kataron look heroic nor does it make the A-Laws that bad for blowing open the hangar which housed their mobile suits first instead of the day care center. Hell the Federation and the A-Laws did not know there were even kids there, all they knew was that it was a military installation that housed a terrorist organization with some heavy equipment and they attacked it as such. If there is blame to be spread then Kataron must shoulder most of it for keeping a day care center in the middle of a base. If Klaus lived and the kids all died then clearly protecting Klaus was of greater importance than protecting those kids. i am probably the only person that is going to cry foul at putting a daycare center next to a hanger full of heavy weapons, but honestly it’s really fucked up to put kids anywhere near a military target in the first place those kids had no business being there and if they really cared they would have sent those kids out of the warzone rather than keep them as refugee shields for their Enacts. Of all the people in this series having Haptism decry the killing of kids was rather silly seeing as how Haptism had killed many more kids than the A-Laws could have.
Also I see Shirin is still crying over how the Federation is behind all the evils in the world, never mind that the Azadistanis were at each other’s throats long before the Federation was created. I still do not see how GN spreaders in the middle of a barren desert some how stunts economic development, rather I had always thought that Azadistan was poor because of mismanagement and a hostile population that was bent on tearing itself apart and oppressing the Kurds. How the locals of Saudi Arabia, Oman, Yemen, and the UAE are suffering is not even shown. Honestly at this point such a hateful attitude barely covers up the fact that Azadistanis are just as responsible for their own plight and not the helpless sods Shirin makes them out to be. They are not victims but rather active players that have resorted to violence in the streets and chosen economic stagnation. Funny how Shirin will never mention the “conservatives” and “liberals” shooting each other in the streets and blames the Federation who set up some GN spreaders in a desert that sits on the opposite side of the Persian Gulf that was already there. Moreover exactly how GN spreaders in Arabian peninsula effects Azadistan is never elaborated upon. Funny how even today the Bedouin prefer to skirt the edges of the desert rather than plow through it, the only thing there is oil, which is worthless in the Gundam 00 economy anyway. Even with the GN Aids given how the A-Laws and the Feddies use it on a daily basis it obviously won’t kill you by breathing, just beware of severed limbs… Then there is the issue of the 328 member states that make up the Federation in contrast to the 192 of the UN, either there has been enough Balkanization of the world to make up for the +136 nations shortfall or that the good people of the Arabian Peninsula were not idiots and joined the Federation. Seeing as how they had allowed Sergei to do a patrol over their airspace with out much trouble, in contrast to the two elite cops who stormed that Azadistani palace, I reason that the locals being smart people probably made up a part of the 328 nations who believed in change. Right now Sunrise is declaring that Azadistan is the Middle East, this to me is rather lazy since the Arabian Peninsula is very different from the other side of the gulf. It would not be too much to ask to see some more suffering especially that of states that aren’t run by incompetent princesses.
Katie wanted them to be more like Tachikomas…childish AI would have been nice.
What ever happened to death with a smile?
My sentiments exactly its either him or you, the choice is clear. Sympathy is something you have after they raise a white flag and toss aside their weapons.
Really this feeble attempt to paint the A-Laws as the new Titans is getting tiresome, given how Sunrise lacks the balls to show me a real massacre instead of the glorious slaughter of a few hundred armed terrorists or what ever polite term you prefer. They declared war on the Federation and if they expected some sort of mercy or fair play in a modern war without waving a white flag with their hands in the air then Kataron is clearly insane as war has always been a dangerous venture. People die in wars, so if you don’t want to die do not pick up a gun, and run away from the sound of gunfire. Otherwise raise your hands and wave a white flag this how most people surrender. It’s not like we can install IFF on everyone since it might be a violation of your privacy… Still beating up Saji in an good cop, bad cop ploy was not all that bad or evil and I quite liked how they socked the shit out of Saji, though Wild Bear could smell the cowardice and ignorance of Saji from miles away. Saji is a dithering little punk he can’t even do the right thing by leaving Kataron and CB to their own fate, nor does he have the sense to look up Louise again for some mercy. Louise has grown much more likable given how Ginin’s thirst for battle has rubbed off on her, perhaps next time she can finally sortie. Ms. Wang is playing both sides while it seems that Ribbons and his innovators also have some hidden Gundams of their own. I cannot wait to see how fabulous they will be as the GN-XIII has been regulated to cannon fodder. In the end even if they now declare it to be horrible it was no worse that the destruction that CB visited upon the bases of the Big Three four years ago, only now they are actually on the receiving end, how poetic.
Papa Bear had to save the world, it’s not that he wanted to miss out on your graduation.
Well it’s not like CB and Kataron takes vacations…
Oh I could just hear that sweet onii-chan from her…
While I am elated that Prince Ali has finally joined the party I am really disappointed how all he did was smile menacingly at the beginning and the end, watching my Lord obliterate the Azadistani capital would have been good fun and might have been the kind of “massacre” that would have cemented the Federation as being bad. As it stands it was nothing more that the semi-righteous slaughter of a bigoted people who could not pull together and insisted upon the continued occupation of Kurdistan. I am sure we are meant to pity the fools of Azadistan, but honestly these are not nice people, they kill each other on a daily basis, and have run their own country to the ground by appointing the inept Princess Poverty to be their savior. Moreover I find it hard to believe that their continued occupation and racist attitudes to all Kurds other than that traitor Jihad-kun to be endearing or in anyway just. Having Prince Ali slaughter his ancient enemies is not as appalling as it could have been given how he has every reason to be pissed off at them. Even if it was for the lulz the Azadistani were not a likable bunch who were doing good and giving out charity. Given how Ali is the only Kurd left fighting the Azadistani it makes him an old embittered warrior who never admitted that his cause was lost. Of all the places to burn for the lulz choosing Azadistan was understandable though mildly monstrous given how all Azadistanis seem to hate Kurds and did the same thing to Kurdistan. It really is hard for me to ignore the continued occupation of Kurdistan and take the Azadistani as innocents as Sunrise wants. It’s tragic but the Azadistani are not the pure innocent victims here, if the occupation was over and done with then perhaps the Azadistani will finally be the ignorant innocents that they were meant to be. If they really wanted a kick the dog moment they surely could have pulled another Rolo.
Ali wants to set the world on fire
Ali also wants to start
A flame on your heart
In his heart he has but one desire
And that one is you
No other will do
Well if Bushido Bob doesn’t want to play Prince Ali is always ready.
Butcher Ali’s got a long sharp knife
He starts choppin’ and don’t know when to stop
All you fellows gotta watch your wifes
‘Cause Ali don’t care who’s meat he chops
[Chorus]
He’s hackin’ and wackin’ and smackin’
He’s hackin’ and wackin’ and smackin’
He’s hackin’ and wackin’ and smackin’
He just hacks, wacks, choppin’ that meat
Ever since Sarshes flew into town
He’s been havin’ a ball
Just cuttin’ and choppin’ for miles around
Single women, married women, old maids and all
Mr. Bushido is clearly an “Army of One,” soon he too will be “Army Strong.” I wonder when he will reach the level cap of 99 where he will be “the few, the proud the Bob.” Still it was rather sad to see that Bushido Bob will not fight every Gundam he meets…The old Graham did not care which Gundam it was but it seems that Bushido Bob is quite taken Gundam 00’s GN melonpan. Hopefully next time Prince Ali does much more than smile at us menacingly, and it looks like the possibility of Patrick showing up is in the cards. I hope so because I miss the un-killable AEU ace, and he surely must be missing his Katie. They ought to be together again, and I am sure the Major will have quite a lot to do with Patrick around…
Soma is now the daughter of Wild Bear though now I have to wonder what it will be like to hear her call Andrei onii-chan… i can see why Wild Bear grew apart from his son with Andrei being a grudge bearer and all, Soma is so forgiving. XD
Partick?
Sunrise I want to see dead children, not man-children.
Come on that isn’t even kiddie size, Code Geass had the slaughter of Geass kids…in the same time slot. So stop being sissies and given me a slaughter of children, and none of the Lulu can but A-Laws can’t bullshit.

Only YOU can prevent pedos. My fellow moralists, join me in opposing all space loli adoptions, they only lead to pain and suffering. This man has already proven himself a failure at being a parent, as evidenced by the dickhead son he produced. Down with pedobear, save our children!

When people call us revolutionary
They’re just tryin’ to see
All that we choose
When all we want is everybody free
The universe would be one brotherhood
It isn’t wrong to be prepared to fight
Together to unite if we believe
In giving everything our heart and soul
Until we reach the goal we should achieve
It shouldn’t matter if we’re brown or white
Yellow or black as night to anyone
We’re all born equal with the self same rights
Sharing the same daylight under the sun
If loving freedom makes me quality
Of opportunity is where revolutionary
Constantly, fervently, firmly
Revolutionary

Will the atrocities of the vile Federation ever cease?! The merciless devils sent their soulless machines into the pure sanctuary of children and slaughtered them all. This is a sin beyond heinous, beyond all forgiveness.

All traitors deserve such soul-crushing despair. Like your first time finishing Akiha’s route in Tsukihime, the despair is endless. Your traitorious actions caused the death of innocent children, who were slaughtered by the evil A-Laws. You deserve nothing less than to have Louise shack up with the Wild Bear’s spawn and then die by her hands.

World, tonight, if you feel the same energy that I do, if you feel the same urgency that I do, if you feel the same passion that I do, if you feel the same hopefulness that I do, if we do what we must do, then I have no doubt that all across the world, from Azadistan to Taribia, from Ceylon to Moralia, the people will rise up in November, and the A-Laws will be defeated. And the Federation will be overthrown. And the world will reclaim its promise. And out of this long political darkness a brighter day will come.

I went through all this posts and I want to say an awful lot, but I’ll just start with the thing irritating me the most.
Almost everybody seems to agree that A-LAWS are not yet prooven to be dictators.
Firstly I wrote a lot about statement of massacres in ep.2, but after that I read more carefully I noticed the main problem seems to be lack of flashbacks to prove it. And that there’s huge doubts that anybody acutally seen this massacres, adn this all comes from Miss Wong’s information that cannot be relied on. Than I have to disagree. It’s not like they get all of the information from her, they have their own sources around the world surely, it’s enough to listen to some non-official networks and do some checking in person. Since I do think they went to check it. At least Setsuna, who had been cut from CB & Wong so could rely only on what he saw – and you cannot persuade me that he never tried to find out if the massacres actually took place. And anyway, it’s much harder to find proof for someone being killed when it never actually happened rather than find truth about thousand deaths when they indeed took place.
And if tens of thousands of deaths indeed took place – I’m sorry, but I don’t believe in white and fluffy tolerant A-LAWS. I doubt that even CB killed as much. And these were world’s known terrorists. While A-LAWS are world’s heroes supported by the government. And why are we also shown that scene when Katie asks the other officer if he questions what he’s been ordered to go. He says – “No”. And now who said that A-LAWS are masters of their own weapons and Gundam Meisters used to recieve orders from Veda. Seems like now they changed over. We’re shown that A-LAWS remind us mostly of old CB – but unlike them they do not doubt their goals and methods (the superiors do not, and others simply have to follow), as Celestial Being starts to.
You say that A-LAWS are quite tolerant & they are consist mostly of decent people… But don’t you notice how this people don’t get any respect at all? They are being laughed at and just barely toleranted to. Not for long, I think it gonna change soon, all hints to such developement. And also that shows (together with people like Sergei that refused to join) how A-LAWS are splitting – into people like Katie & people like her superiors, who does not question their actions at all, and that certainly leads to tyranism. I wonder if they’re going to split officially later – or they’ll just manage to get rid of all “unneeded” people before it comes to that.
On an unrelated note, excepting how it appears that my character is the size of a Gundam, I present these pictures with Liberty Prime and the Washington Monument to help establish a sense of scale:

1.) marina is a figurehead and has no power
2.) saachez made it VERY clear that he doesn’t give a shit about the kurds. he just likes killing people. given a paycheck he would have burned kurdistan to the ground. and he would have done it giggling.
3.) All societies have defects. I dislike Israel for being racist but I still would find the whole scale butchering to be unjust. Besides, the younger generation of azadistanis seemed decent enough (the little boy setsunna met)
4.) just because a bad geopolitical situation pops up doesn’t mean they are all animals.
5.) while the occupaton is undoubtedly portrayed as bad, countries conquer other countries all the time. Grantng the people citizenship was (while not entirely just) pretty progressive compared to the ghengis approached.
6.) the backstory is explained and the cause (their nation was suffering due to economic sanctons on oil). Is it wrong? yes. understandable? also. people do desperate things and the occupation was never protrayed as just.
7.) It is apparent that they commit massacres.
Again, you have no proof that katheron is lying. Based on their actons in the show the allaws demonstrated taht they are evil. you don’t have to like azadistan, but you are rewriting the show’s backstory
It’s all just spin man, a farce, a yarn sarcastically spun, a joke as are all the post summaries for the most part. Also this was so 2008 and you are 2000 and lat…
ok. I honestly did enjoy the show (the twist about how ribbons the big bad saved the life of the hero was pretty surprising. and i actually enjoyed ali al saachez’s death since he was a monster who slaughtered countless people. Also, have you played starcraft at all (cause they have a similar emotional link only it just allows speaking to anyone anywhere and feeling their emotions.)
no offense but it did seem like you were rewriting the backstory. Marina is annoying don’t get me wrong but she isn’t actively screwing over her country. she is making an effort to fix things.saachez mad it clear he never believed in god and that he used it as a tool
Spin is all about rewriting events (in new and funny ways), anyways it’s fine if you like what they gave you, I wasn’t though. If it does bother you perhaps it is time to find a glowing review of Gundam 00 else where, not that I don’t enjoy having a latecomer but I feel that I did not write the kind of posts you were looking for.
again, no problem. I actually find it hillarious a lot of the time (as a fellow star wars fan I loved the jokes you made about it). It’s just that it’s sometimes difficult to tell whether your being serious or deliberately ridiculous. The most pressing question i am asking is what your overall opinion about islam and the palestinian conflict is. you seem to be quite knowledgable (which is also refreshing compared to a lot of brainless racists I have unfortunately met on the internet.) what was your opinion about the twist of ribbons being the one who saved setsunna as a kid; that was honestly a pretty “whoh, never saw that coming” twist, and in terms of manipulation it wasn’t too shabby either.
I also can’t help but feel at times that the show was actually lampshading how silly the CB members were (setsunna and haptism have been fighting for so long that it’s literally all they know how to do, while Lockon Stratos I is simply lashing out at the world to fill the hole in his heart ali al saachez left when he slaughtered his family). It would have been a nice point to adress.
