Any ways it seems that Klaus likes being Hollywood cool and fires his SMG from the hip with a Hollywood magazine, tragically he was not forced to pay for his gangsta style shooting and Marina was miraculously saved as the bullets passed harmlessly through her to hit the guys who killed Kenny, and it is FUCKING KENNY Klaus. Fortunately for Shirin the most hateful woman in the Middle East that the old Nazi escape tunnels to der Fuhrer’s mountain hideout was left intact after all these years. If we needed any more proof that that Klaus fellow was a National Socialist, here it is. Even if Kataron is unwilling to feed the starving masses building a Mountain hideaway in the AEU at the Berghof enjoyed unanimous support by the Kataron elite.

Lots of purple smoke could not hide the most heinous crime of the day as Saji mentally violated Louise. Not only did Saji force Louise into her old girly clothes because he was even more misogynistic than that creep Andrei, Saji wanted Louise to revert to her old air head, selfish self that has been mercifully absent since S1. While Louise was able to conjure up a gun Saji’s deal with the GN Devil made it impossible for her to shoot Saji and end it there. Seeing as how he could not change Louise sexual preferences he attempted to force her back into heterosexuality by trying to rape her. The horror was simply too much and thankfully Trans-AM ran out before Saji could complete his heinous crime. Louise was horribly shaken by the ordeal, and Andrei had to save her since Ginin was no longer amongst the living. Marie tries her best to be like Soma, but sadly she was unable to best Andrei, yet more proof that the loser Marie is still around as Andrei still draws breath. The only good thing that Gundam 00 Raiser did all day was to being back Hallelujah for all too brief a time. Tieria finally becomes useful by using his superior suit to capture Revival, or so he thinks…

Apparently it was all a ruse by Ribbons who needed Revival to awaken Anew who gloriously shot Lasse, though because this is Sunrise we can only confirm if Anew made a bloody mess of that mangy dog in the next ep. Still there is much promise in Anew Returner as she was last seen taking that hated bitch desu yellow hostage. I hope Anew shot Feldt in the face and will end up killing desu yellow for good measure. If Soma has truly returned then she will shoot Anew by giving that desu-tard bitch a few new assholes. Ribbons has finally had enough of Regene’s bullshit and Bright slaps the glasses off her. Nena finally does something useful and kills of Ms. Wang who has gotten old and boring ever since S2 began, Hong Long proves how much ninjas suck compared to pirates, but being Captain Obvious and getting himself killed. Still this is after all a Sunrise series so we have to wait with bated breath for the confirmation of Nena’s kill. Having killed her benefactor though Nena will soon run out of batteries in which time perhaps Prince Ali will finish the job he started back in S1. Bushido Bob disappoints by merely watching the battle from afar, Goodman finally calls bullshit on the permit scheme citing how it was all for nothing, Hilling thinks otherwise and hopefully next time she can kick ass and avenge Stabity and Divine in her GARazzo. Prince Ali was still on vacation probably killing a few million Azadistanis and fat Seelians, while Katie and Patrick seemed to have eloped.

So yes Saji like any dumb Japanese male tries to say hello to Louise by raping her, you have to feel sorry for Louise she’s getting discriminated against for her sexual orientation by Andrei and Saji. They both tell her that she belongs in a dress and that she is supposed to be a dumb air headed blonde. The only real victim in Gundam 00 is Louise how has not only lost every one who she really cared about, but is also the target for the worst kind of discrimination that Gundam 00 has infamous for, while there is great tolerance for homolust yurilust doesn’t get nearly as much respect. The Ahead gets no respect and seems to have already become obsolete, Bob is starting to make himself a nuisance by showing up on time, but refusing to fight. It would have been so much more enjoyable had Bob entered the fray to Trans-GARham. Once again Prince Ali is no where to be seen thus keeping the kill count fairly low despite the efforts of Anew and Nena, at least with Ali we know his kills are always good.

Katie and Patrick seemed to have eloped like Shiro and Aina, and if Patrick is lucky he will have consummated his love for Katie and be expecting a child, all without having to lose a leg in the process. I was very impressed by Revival making his way to awaken Anew, with a kiss I assume. I do hope Anew was malevolently playing with Lyle’s heart and will shatter it pieces when she kills Feldt and that desu yellow. I do hope Lasse is dead or at least comes out of this with a face most fucked up. If some how Anew missed at point blank to his face then we will know that Sunrise lacks the balls to kill off their favorite terrorists. Oddly enough Goodman is the only one who has the balls to call the Permit system complete and utter bullshit. I do hope they eventually touch upon what motivates Goodman to troll terrorists, after all it seems that Homer and Goodman have some mild disdain for these permit carrying Innovators. Bushido Bob is just too off his rocker to be taken seriously as that cosplayer is simply something else altogether.
I did enjoy what might very well be the slaying of Ms. Wang who has been nothing but a disappointment since S2 started, she was old haughty and she only revolted for immortality instead of doing the right thing by bathing in the blood of virgins. Nena may have just sealed her own doom by killing Ms. Wang, but knowing those CB fellows I am sure that Nena can get them to help her. If so I hope Louise really gets mad at Saji for harboring the murder of her family.

@RP, I’m skeptically on them being dead as well. The optimist in me says that all three are dead. Nothing against Lasse, or Hong Long, but it does make sense for them to be killed at the moment, and CB is due for some casualties. Plenty against Wang, and her dying now, with that look of stunned disbelief that would be quite fitting, and satisfying.
The cynic in me says that Lasse is wounded at best. Cuts followed by gunshots are just cheap ways to build some drama for cliffhangers without anything actually happening. Likewise for Wang and Hong Long, enveloped in explosion, particularly when someone is trying to shield you, isn’t a sure thing.
Double-Bro Raiser is the greatest development in S2 so far.

Wang might not be dead yet, since it’d be pretty disappointing that Regene went through so much trouble to mess up Ribbons’ plan and got nothing out of it. Wang can die whichever horrible way after she hands the note to CB. Yeah Lasse might not be dead either.
What I really don’t get is that if Ribbons wanted the 00 Raiser so bad, why didn’t he just get Ali kill Setsuna instead of poisoning Setsuna while they were in Krugis? That should be way easier than slowly poisoning Setsuna with Gn tau particles, and afterwards let Revive get captured and activate Anew to steal the 00. Makes zero sense at all.

It does seem to me that Anew was a sleeper agent, but an unwitting one as well (though the memory lapse being voluntary is a HUGE possibility). Reminds me of the old Kolat from L5R, where literally *anyone* could be a Kolat agent, but they would not know it… That is, until the DM has your character murder your partymates.
Wow, Stag Beetle Flag looked like a JRPG boss or something doing some pose. All it needed was some lightning strikes in the background and that would have completed it.

And no one and I mean NO ONE really cares about Andrei as a character. The guy has a generic face, generic skills, pitiful conviction, dumb achievements, and his voice was never on the side of making you closer to having an orgasm to put it nicely. It’s so pointless to build him up.
I never understood why they make the Mobile Suits themselves cross their arms. I mean, the pilot inside can do the cross, fine, but it seems like such a retarded thing to do to move the arms of your Suit to that position before finally crossing your own arms. “Hey look my Suit will take no bullshit from anyone cause its arms are crossed.” Minus points for Cosplayer Bob.

No, but the abuse of the word symbolism has been something that has plagued entertainment and storytelling for far too long.
Symbolism is at it’s best when it’s natural. Like when a movie scene just about ends and they zoom in on a small part of the setting that was the place for the scene itself, and a small little detail would be shown as symbolism.
When you just literally use GN-pixie dust to literally DIRECTLY CREATE your symbolism, it becomes something that’s less than crap. There’s no subtlety, no room for interpretation, just flat out direct in your face HEY DO YOU GET WHAT THIS MEANS? CAUSE I’LL TELL YOU RIGHT NOW BEFORE YOU EVEN HAVE A CHANCE TO BLINK.
This might work for more mystical/magical/mythical settings, but this is AD, a world where the season 1 was promoted as a “what would happen X years from now” show. Regardless of the excuse of the power of GN-pixie dust, it still goes to show they fail at bringing a strong message that fits the genre of the series.
I mean, even in old school Gundams when the hardcore fans splurge while the rest of us go O.o; the scenes were mostly pilot talking to pilot with the suits being transparent and crap. You get transparent flashes of more political symbols flying around, and while that is still totally retarded, it’s still better than something as blatantly obvious as this scene. Plus Gundam shows back then were ummm, older? So there’s more leeway there.
Personally I never liked symbolism because it is very difficult to do. The symbolism of Code Geass was tolerable even though everything was plain obvious because it was T R Y I N G to be a bit subtle, and the art style along with music and everything else just clicked. It was a FABULOUS type series, one that was over the top and nothing was meant to be hard and real and gritty.
I mean, do we even want to get into the whole naked mist crap and whether or not that’s induced hallucination or just symbolism of the mind talk? It’s pointless right? Because it’s DUMB. Whether or not it’s this term or that term does not matter. Like Bruce Lee says, what works works, names do not give it special powers. This episode had no touching scenes, and that speaks a lot because of the amount of emo this episode produced.

I was holding my sides for this one. Any who I’m no longer watching gundam00 for the actual show anymore, more or less closure reasons. Also those off screen gun shots can be a bitch huh? One minute you think their dead, the next alive, the next making an impossible come back, certainly is trippy shit.
Lasse is a dead man one way or the other: if not by Anew then a slow(er) death from his wounds from the end of season one. It’s much more interesting to see what Setsuna will change into… maybe some kind of newtype. Who needs evolution when you’ve got GN particles.
I don’t know why but I continue to be fascinated by Nena’s development over most of the characters. Not that I particularly feel any sympathy for her but I just find her hatred for those who sit by and do nothing (Like Wang and the Halveys) a bit fascinating. I am guessing she was one of those, like Setsuna, who believes that pacifists that sit by and lap up the wealth are the cause of chaos in the world. At any rate I am glad to see she finally left Wang’s shadow and is now taking her own route which hopefully leads to neither Celestial Being or the Innovators.
Anyway the whole Saji yelling “STOP” after Soma tried to kill Andrei actually made me giggle a bit.
Anyway looks like next episode might involve a few gunfights if I am lucky. Maybe Soma will get captured by the Federation and then Louise break her out of prison and then they will leave the series for their own spin-off that features the romance of the struggling young private Louise and her sexy but hardened superior Soma.
So where in the hell is Ali? He lost his mobile suit plenty of times in Season 1 but that never stopped him from coming back. Does Sunrise not love us anymore?
Oh and props to Goodman for humilating Healing in front of the crew. I didn’t like him but now he is my favorite A-Laws superior for making fun of those stupid Innovators and there ridiculous hairstyles. (Except for Bring who reminded me of a silent Knight kinda of guy, his mobile suit even looked like a bad-ass dark age warrior.)
By now, we all have learned that no one is officially dead until there is no confirmation of another season or they pop out of nowhere in the following episodes.
So, Anew goes Innovatory on us and takes Mileina hostage in the next epi. I don’t think I can last any longer at Saji and Louise’s “reach out to your love” drama. They take up too much screetime and the the whole Veda thing gets pushed back. I still support them, but please…
Only a few more epis. left. I hope for a somewhat satisfying ending, but come on, do you think we will really be satisfied? As long as we don’t see Ribbons in a ‘Nice Cart’ talking to someone or to himself like in Code Geass R2, I think it’ll be a pretty decent ending.

i can think of three reasons why ali hasn’t shown up
1) he’s hiding in shame due to the humiliation of being almost raped by jihad kun
2) ribbons handed out construction of the nu-arche to subcontractors and they’re taking their sweet time making the damn thing.
3) he trying to find the enact he ditched cos unlike the arche and throne zwei it doesn’t seem to be blessed with suck.

It is kind of sad, but to be fair, Gundam 00 has been better than some other series. If nothing else we’ll probably know for certain whether they’re alive or dead next episode.
Incidentally I disagree with you on the “be forced into old girly clothes” thing. We’ve yet to see Louise on leave, nor anything to indicate that she wouldn’t wear something like that when on her own time.
On a different note, a couple things occurred to me after watching this episode. Ali probably did tell Ribbons about Nena, he just had the subtlety to wait until Regene and Wang were out of earshot. Also, it wouldn’t surprise me if Ali’s been keeping tabs on Regene and Wang for Ribbons. It’d certainly match with the whole right-hand man of Ribbons thing that Ali has going.
Finally got around to watching the episode. If the two Innovators fail to steal the 00, they’ll be the biggest failures in the whole Gundam universe where even kids steal these things on a regular basis and from supposedly high security military facilities even.
That’s a lot of Gundam Wing references. XD Particularly with the Treize quotations. Gundam Wing waxes political philosophy on war and Gundam 00… waxes something else.

Ever since she lost her family it seems the pursuit of justice has been her reason for living. In any case I still think it was galling of Andrei to tell Louise that she did not belong in a Mobile Suit, and it was equally offensive for Saji to insist that the air headed Louise was the one and only Louise.
Neither is listening to what she wants but both are trying to order her to behave as they would want her to. I don’t suppose that telling a woman that she ought to be air headed and clumsy is going to flatter her ego.

I agree with you partly. G00 was better than some other series in keeping the dead dead. Especially after S1. But then S2 rolled around and the death count went downhill (uphill?) after Lockon, Ali-Saachez & Graham all came back. Set a bad precedent, IMO. Ah well, at least the dead Innovators are staying dead for now. For a superior race, they’re not doing so well staying alive in the field.

OK this was one hilarious episode. I was laughing nonstop throughout the end of this. First off I would have slapped Marina and told the bitch to pick up the gun. The fight was just so stupid with Soma running off again and Saji just yelling Louise’s name. The 00 part was like a pair of titties was following the Gundam and just looked ridiculous. How come nobody handcuffed the prisoner and why didn’t the retard called Lyle speak up because anybody in their right mind would have been oh shit I’ve made a huge mistake(not to mention none of the Meisters had any sort of revelation). Almost nothing got accomplished with this episode as Louise is back to being unsure. Oh and now seems Setsuna is becoming an Innovator due to the poisoned GN particles in a dumb plot to begin with.
Nena is now working with the Innovators(I’m assuming this since Ribbons knew Regene had backstabbed him)?? Btw is Ribbons idiotic or just plain retarded, either you treat your subordinates somewhat well or you rule them with an iron fist. Ribbons is doing this half hearted shit which is going to bite him in the ass later. If Wang is dead then what was the purpose at all of even having her on the show, she accomplished nothing and was just sprouting the crap about changing the world the whole time without really doing anything. Indeed it is nothing short of a mystery why Trans-GARham has yet to be implemented elsewhere. More over we still do not know what that new special attack is…

#4. Thus, Via Quantum brain waves (and might I add he can push feelings into those who are not really exposed to GN particles on a massive scale) Setsuna may be a “Ultimate Innovator” at this point.
#5. Innovators may be able to engage in Digital mind battles–Its quite clear to me that Anew has been taken over or something along those lines….

I know Louise practically has to be ordered to take leave. I’m just saying that I don’t see any reason why she wouldn’t still enjoy wearing girly clothes when dressed as a civilian.

I highly doubt Nena is working with the Innovators given how pissed she was that Wang was whole heartly supporting them after learning who was employing Ali these days. Plus Ribbons has plenty of other ways to know that Regene is being naughty.
Also Ribbons has been treating his subordinates somewhat well. The only one he hasn’t treated well is Wang. You don’t see the other Innovators, or Ali, or Louise, or the A-Laws doing much complaining, and he gave Regene plenty of leeway until he did something truely out of line.
Wang’s done plenty on the show thus far by being a source of information and money/supplies for various groups. She just suffered from the same delusions of grandeur that Alejandro did.
Even though this episode did suck to the 10th power, most of theese comments are directed at the whole series which doesen’t suck. It’s just OK… kinnda. Sometimes it’s good mostly it’s OK but the off-screen gunshots and the GN particles making Louise and Saji meet each other in some desolite environment in space with a gun does annoy the shi- out of me.
