If you are uncomfortable with what Mariya says about lesbians, you can imagine how real lesbians feel (“god damned lesbian”). Just try substituting the common term for any other minority (like “black person”, “Hispanic person,”Asian person,” etc) and most people would be repulsed. I don’t want to seem like I’m trying to insult you or anything, since you said that it made you uncomfortable also. Just trying point out how certain aspects (or lines) in this show can be offensive.

Nice thinking ! I sure miss the bagmonster.

On another note, I just finished watching Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru, and seriously it doesn’t hold a candle to Maria Holic. Its like Maria Holic without Mariya or Kanako or anything… I kept hoping the main character would begin acting like a sadistic little boy, but he just kept on smilin’…

Two thoughts: One, it’s Kanako’s bagmonster. I’m not sure if she had her bag with her, but if she did, no doubt it was hungry. Two, when Sachi was messing around with Honoka, she knocked over her basket of clothes and knocked the underwear out (and it slid under Kanako’s bed). The latter would make Kanako look even more guilty, so I could see that happening.

Crusader, I must totally agree with you. The rebellious side of Kanako was kinda hot. And the scene right after that where she kowtowed was hilarious.

Bah, there are too many nice girls for Kanako in this anime. Ryuuken, Yuzuru and now Shizu. I guess a harem ending truly is needed.
