Let’s put some fear into them Mio…
Kyoko of the Dark Moon Expeditionary Force! You are about to embark upon the Great Crusade, toward which we have striven these many months. The eyes of the world are upon you. The hopes and prayers of Shotaro-hating people everywhere march with you. In company with our brave Allies and brothers-in-arms on other Fronts, you will bring about the destruction of the Shotaro propaganda machine, the elimination of Visual Kei tyranny over the oppressed peoples of the world, and security for ourselves in a free world. Your task will not be an easy one. Your enemy is well trained, well equipped and concert hardened. He will fight savagely. But this is the year 2009! Much has happened since the Shotaro triumphs of a few months ago. The Love Me Section has inflicted upon the Shotaro great defeats, in open battle, man-to-man. Our commercial offensive has seriously reduced his strength on the air waves and his capacity to hold concerts on the ground. Lori has given us an overwhelming superiority in weapons and munitions of stardom, and placed at our disposal great reserves of trained fighting men. The tide has turned! The free men of the world are marching together to Victory! I have full confidence in your courage and devotion to duty and skill in battle. We will accept nothing less than full Victory! Good luck! And let us beseech the blessing of Almighty God upon this great and noble undertaking.
The Earth it self has been moved to pity at your sincerity!
FIGHT!
There is nothing to fear but Tsuruga himself.
In the end Impz ran away to some dude’s basement leaving me to finish what he started. Ah well this should at least answer usagijen’s calls for more Skip Beat posts though at this juncture I am just doing mop up of all the stuff I didn’t finish before now that I am in the real world facing this terrible job market. So in the end Old Mio was forced to surrender unconditionally to Kyoko after Mio the younger shocked and awed the cast and crew with Mio 2.0. Momose definitely fears Kyoko though she predicts accurately that Tsuruga was about to hit a wall. While Kyoko assumed that she was going to get chewed out for her behavior, in the end Tsugura spared her as her Mio was three kinds of win and awesome, had Kyoko failed to meet expectations he would have made Kyoko cry for two years. I applaud Kyoko’s discretion in not combating the demon lord, where Shotaro has foolish and idiot pride in his scant talents, Kyoko is humble. Speaking of the pretender Shotaro it seems that Kyoko and Tsuruga starring in the same production really eats at him, as well as it should for his legendary stupidity is about to be paid in full. Nevertheless all is not well in Tsuruga’s world as dreams of being Corn no Yousei was but a brief respite from his inability to play the role of Katsuki 2.0.
Uh oh…
At least he’s honest…
Ren’s eyes shoot lazors…
So to drown his troubles Tsuruga tries to drown it all down with booze, as Shotaro pretends to be number one… Too bad the dumb bastard will never be number one and like the little prick that he is starts throwing a hissy once he realizes the inevitability of fate, though Tsugura is working on the romantic overtone. Kyoko cosplays as Tsuruga to maximum effect and it was delightful to watch her try and act fresh. So as undercover chicken Kyoko gets Tsuruga to spill the beans on all of his problems, sadly Kyoko can’t seem to connect the points and gets in a fight instead. Surprise, surprise it seems Tsuruga has his sights set on a 16 year old high school kid, but all Kyoko cares about is that this solves the issue of Katsuki rather neatly…of course Tsuruga resists and thinks that Bo is trying to scam him into seizing Kyoko, only the truth is that she was plotting her own capture, I commend her for being ruthless and efficient.
In the end we only get a lame old cliff hanger though and it does make me pissed off but at least there is hope for some more down the line. I can’t say much about the last episode since it was right before the good part if you know what I mean…well at least now usagijen can complain a little less about the lack of Skip Beat! posts I for one blame Impz for running away although he has been more active as of late so I can’t deliver justice upon his head as he already repented I just hope it stays that way.
Who is this Corn?
Mio wants Momose for dinner…
You know what she means…
Mio will take that as a yes.
Getting fresh eh?
We are experiencing emotional difficulties…
Take her advice…she’ll love you for it.
Indeed the being a Sith is better.
Hi…
After all that trouble Kyoko went through too…
I’d be scared too…nothing is scarier than a dumbass in denial.
Oooo…shiny.
No need to thank him Moko-san it is his honor to serve you.
Kyoko has proved her superiority to Shotaro once again.

I love the part when she (as Bo) unknowingly adviced Ren into ‘taking’ herself. I seriously wish from the deepest part of my heart that he would do it. Damn you Ren! Do what the chicken said! It can’t be wrong!
Anyone else feel that the final (Ending) episode was extremely rushed?
Yes. It was rushed a bit to fit into the season. Hopefully they will make a second season where shotaro will be annihilated ^^
WE WANT MOAR IDD. this serie is good and funny, seriously moar needed :p
Its a pity they couldn’t extend this season so it didn’t appear so rushed. I really enjoyed this arc in the manga.
HAHAHAHAHA EAT IT SHOTARO YOU ASSHAT! Look upon their shared name on that poster and burn, burn with jealousy and realize how stupid you were to treat Kyoko the way you did.
You will RUE THE DAY you crossed her!
I always enjoy the scenes with Ren and Kyoko as Bo. I really wonder how he’ll take it if he ever finds out its her underneath that costume.
A sequel can only work if it happens relatively quickly. After all, they ended at a cliffhanger that is really difficult to prepare for a new audience in a season 2. They would have to do what R2 did with R1’s ending.
But whoever animated this series is very good. It’s a complete upgrade over the manga. Only problem lies with voices.
Well, I think they cut it off as well as they could have given the fact that they ended the show in the middle of the arc. That being said, it still sucks that we haven’t even gotten to THAT SCENE! And they were so close! The next episode would have been it and if it was a 26-episode-long show, they would have shown it! Come on! Still, it was a fabulous show with a ‘meh’ ending…
All we can do is hope for a second season… any confirmation yet?
I was hoping that they will show at least the episode where in Ren was resting his head on Kyouko’s lap, I want to see that scene in anime.
Yeah. You know my answer for this matter.
Kyoko is too fucking arrogant. It would be funny as hell if she suddenly becomes homeless (=_=;
Way too short, this anime. I really hope to hear that they’ll be making a second season soon.
@KLA
How is Kyoko arrogant? She’s plain dumb. That isn’t being arrogant, that’s IGNORANT.
And she’s still cooler than ANYONE in the Big 3. This is coming from a person who cares more about a fight choreograph than the entire storyline for 00.
@KLA
To say that Kyoko is arrogant shows that you don’t watch the show or read the manga.
you are the arrogant one… what do you know about kyouko? maybe you just don’t know how to judge a character… you’re the stupid one…
Even though no news have been made that a second season is coming, there haven’t been news about NO SECOND SEASON EITHER…so i’m keeping my fingers crossed…besides, why end the episode with “THE NEXT STAGE IS…” and not continue it? they should have just put “THE END” or something like that…
I’m to anxious for the second season two… it can’t be the end, they are in the middle of filming dark moon, and in the phone on the begining of the last episode of season 1, ist said that ren is to become to the set in two days to prove his self. Ist impossible to not do another season, there’s to much to happen yet. I think they had an impass, because skip beat was to became a real serie whit real people, but the main actriss trade them for another role, so i think they main be having troubles whit the legal stuff or something.
It seams to be confirmed on the net, 2nd season of skip beat will be out in japan on october 2009. we just have to wait if this time is for real.
@KLA and D=
Kyoko is neither arrogant nor stupid, she’s proven that much. She is however in major denial. She doesn’t believe that anyone could love her(even though she secretly craves it ie. affection from Moko-san). Because of this she completely blows off(? not sure if this is the right term to use) any form of affection from Ren. She feels that the only reason for Ren showing her affection is because of their Sempai-Kohai relationship.
Anyway…
I can’t wait for season 2 and THAT scene XD It’s going to be awesome. 5 months to go though, I not sure I can hold out :{
What do you think 2 season will be??? Acordding to the manga history, i was seeing second season whit an ending before the problems whit natsu caracter begins, so that natsu and the kyoto evolution should be on a 3rd season… What do you think?
CountDown till October: 4 months and 1 day to go
the manga is much futher along than the anime.
i hope they make a second season. it’s one of the few anime that follows the manga very closely
Just to say hi
