It took them 14 episodes, but we finally had plot exposition that didn’t make my eyes glaze over and was somewhat understandable. I kind of actually know what is going on, at least for the part they explained. Wohoo.
Looks like the Tomoharu from the other world had quite the harem just like the current one. Except he seemingly was all about Misao, and we get declarations of love and making out in the first episode of this new season. I like it, no pussyfooting around.
They’ve been hinting since the beginning the existence of this other world, but nothing beyond mysterious references was really revealed to us. They told us plenty of nonsensical and confusing things about the Asura Machina or whatever they are called, but who really understood that. This was actually a rather well done explanation, and properly done through a flashback and not a really long speech with the character’s mouth hidden and panning around to save budget.
I also dug the bit of action this week, we even got to see Student Council Sword-sempai slicing some random mook monsters up. Quite a positive first episode of the season, doesn’t appear to be any drop off from the really solid first season. Looking forward to continuing this one, perhaps I’ll blog it regularly, depending on how the other shows pan out.

I have to say they started things off well here. Finally got some good information about what the heck is going on. Plus good on Tomoharu from that world for picking his girl. Hopefully the second season keeps it up.
Hard to say whether anything was really explained. I mean sure they showed the ‘other world’ but I’m not sure if this really explains anything. It just adds more questions more than anything else.
I was all set to drop this series, but this 1st episode was actually good – made sense and there was actual plot progression; so looks like I’ll be keeping it on afterall.
I really like how it’s clear that Tomoharu is with Misao. However, I never considered him being indecisive. It’s that he never seems to be interested in any one and that’s not indecisive. Indecisive is for that guy in White Album.
President Toru is the Best. I really want to have her baby.
I’m not a huge fan of moe characters, but I approve of Takatsuki. Maybe I’ve got a heterochromia fetish.
