And such a wonderfully funny tale this is.
Although I am still stuck in the Socialist Worker’s Paradise, Kampfer is continuing to deliver my regular dose of yuri goodness. So far this was one of the funniest episodes thus far for those of us who watch yuri shows with monastic devotion. They just crammed in the references and ran with it and in my opinion they did a fine job. The plot is pretty lame any ways so they might as well take it to the limit with the yuri fanservice, and boy was there a lot of it. Unlike Calawain I am willing to tolerate the Class 2-4 since they were willing to cash in on their new heroine and pimp her out to the how school for money. To get rich is glorious indeed. On the Sakura front the dumb bitch is getting possessive and trying to monopolize Natsuru Girl-type. Fortunately Akane is willing to protect the feeling of love in Natsuru Girl-type’s heart and will love her even if she assumes her guy form. Akane’s love is so deep that it blows everyone else out the water as Shizuku’s rumor of Natsuru Girl-type being hetero brought forth denunciations of the alleged vile betrayal. While it was a hasty reaction on the part of the female student body, it was understandable given how lamentable Natsuru Boy-type is. Still poor Akane is facing an uphill battle for Nat-chan’s attentions as in the class-room she cannot use her Kampfer form to assert her dominance over the rest of them. If nothing else I just love how Akane fluctuates between tsun tsun and dere dere, given how shallow Sakura is. Hopefully after The Return of Mikoto Akane might get some help against Sakura. If this keeps up then Kampfer will earn a slot as one of the pillars for this glorious Year of Yuri.
Calawain’s Cross Dressing Corner
Another show that decided that plot was for losers, and this one instead decided to focus on a school filled with sex-crazed lesbians. I always roll my eyes at the whole “secret garden of maidens” concept, as it’s laughably false in real life, and I wouldn’t call any of these lusty females “maidens.” However, that’s not to say that it wasn’t amusing, if a bit hamfisted, watching all the girls go ga-ga over Natsuru’s booby form. And those three idiots from Natsuru’s new class dragging her/him around for photo shoots and such were rather irritating, and I’d like it if those characters didn’t make any more appearances, as doubtful as that is.
Akane was pleasingly getting more assertive and jealous, seemingly uncaring as to whether Natsuru is in female or male form, proving her True Love. I sense OTP here until the childhood friend comes back and causes trouble. Good to see Shizuku up and around stirring up trouble with that sultry voice of hers, she’s got a wicked hot devious smile. Another good entry in the official Year of Yuri.

Well it was definitely an interesting time on the girl’s side for Natsuru. A pretty crazy school with the division and how the guys like the girls, but the girls also like the girls. The guys should give up on getting to the other side since there isn’t anything waiting for them
. But wow talk about a major hit to Natsuru’s ego how low he was rated as a guy by the girls.
But true Akane’s love is deep. She doesn’t let something like gender get in her way. Of course too bad for her that if she isn’t extremely clear Natsuru won’t figure things out. But anyways the blushing Kampfer Akane was pretty nice. I do like these two as a pairing since Akane really doesn’t care which form Natsuru happens to be in. At least she’s in a better position than Sakura who has made male Natsuru her rival.
Shizuku has made things fairly complicated. Now Natsuru won’t even have peace on the guy’s side due to the rumour that he’s dating his female side. Considering her popularity there is no way he’s going to have peace. Though it seems things calmed down a bit on the girl’s side he’ll still have Sakura trying to steal him away from himself. Of course it’s helpful in that it won’t be weird why the female version is stopping by his house.
Impressed Natsuru got away from those determined fans with apparently only a little fooling around.

See thats exactly why Natsuru fails. You don’t go to a Yuri paradise and get away with only “a little fooling around.” You should fool around, ALOT. I’m sure both Crusader and Calawain will agree with that much.
Also is anyone else getting annoyed by Sakura. You can’t monoplize girl type Natsuru, her yuri luvin must be spread to all within a 1km radius.
