I have no clue why she likes to call it Hacookie, instead of Hakuoki. I presume she thinks it is cute to call it weird names. I think this might be a common feature on the blog because she tends to make really funny comments when she is watching anime, but she is so darn lazy to write it in a blog. So here I am, being the great husband, and shifting her thoughts into the Interwebs. Anyway, it’s a very interesting insight.

Ha, Cookie! I love the name change. Observation is interesting, the way it’s stated isn’t fully clear logic, but it makes sense.
Who ever said it has to be logical when it comes to 13sugars. We will be continuing to watch Hacookie. She likes her eye candy.
Haha very cute name. The show does have some good eye candy. (even if it’s mixed in with some blood)
The observation is quite true and one of the reasons I don’t like Chizuru. But, being the devil’s advocate, I think that Chizuru works hard to gain their respect and in many ways, the Shinsengumi would only kill someone they respect? That’s my only way of justifying her weird (/totally unrealistic) actions.
I just find Chizuru very stupid. However, the main story of Hakouki is actually interesting, and the plot is moving at a very nice pace. I find myself interested about the “ghost” clan, and that means this show is succeeding in drawing me into the plot.
Lol. Well, the only other Chizuru I can think of right now is the one in ‘Kimi ni todoke’ and, from what I recall, she ain’t that bright either.

Lol. I don’t even know what that is. I watch Hacookie but not for the drool factor ~_~. I am a guy so guys don’t interest me one bit. I do hope that the story plot continues to stay as coherent as it has for the past few episodes, even though Chizuru’s character grates on the borderline level of masochist and stupidity.
Thanks for recommending Uraboku, as much as I like bishies I was originally put off by the some of previews I’d read. However, based on the first 4 epis and the emergence of a more solid storyline than I thought it had (and the fact that it has many of my fave VAs including in it), I’m glad I gave it a try. Oh, and having finally seen the subbed version of Epi 7 of Hakuouki yesterday, Okita is clearly a sado-masochist. :p
