I really wish for the next beautiful anime series like this. Sigh.
Just a quick update on the various things involving T.H.A.T.
1. We have just restored the contact form here,so it is easier for us to respond to you. We are also open to ideas from advertisers who are keen to advertise on the blog. Please email us for more details. We are slowly restoring a few other functions that we hope to include in the blog template. In addition, I will work on some more banners (the new ones added look ugly imho, I simply wanted to test out the blog rotation plugin) throughout the next three weeks. Lots of housekeeping and administrative things to do. <-- fixed!
2. We have received an overwhelming number of applicants for the blog. I am really glad that we have many quality applicants in our recruitment drive this time. Thank you for making my life more terrible than it should be when I choose the authors that will be a good fit for our blog. For those who have no clue what this is about, check this post by EO for more details. Continue to send your entries in. Due to overwhelming response, We will push our application date earlier to May 27th. I will go update the previous post too to prevent any confusion.
3. I finally knew two days ago that T.H.A.T Anime Blog is in the aniblog tournament. Unlike some of the other more eloquent bloggers such as Psgels, 2DT and Mefloraine, as well as Anigamers (our Round two opponent, do visit their blog) who made persuasive appeals, I would simply ask for all the readers to vote for us if you enjoy reading our posts. Please continue to tell us how we can improve because we will always be glad to listen to feedback. If you would, please vote for us for the 2nd round through this link.
Even though it sounds so much as a cliche, thank you for making T.H.A.T one of the blogs you read. It’s you who makes it worthwhile to keep writing even after more than three and a half years for me.
P/s: Incidentally, 12 is my lucky number, so good job, 5camp!

Well…I played for my highschool soccer team (and my other club) for five years with my number 5.
On the last day of my senior year, playing in a social game, I wore number 12 (first time without 5) and subsequently broke my femur bone in half. Needed surgery to insert a titanium rod and stayed in the hospital for 2 weeks, on crutches for 2 months, physiotherapy for 6 months and no sports for a year. Definitely rubbed me the wrong way lol
On the bright side though, I’ve used 12 ever since that day for my uni soccer team. Still, 12 is not really one of my fav numbers but I am trying to change my perception haha
Hahahaha. Well, for me, I was given the number 12 shirt when I first represented my secondary school coincidentally for soccer too. Amazingly enough, my register number in the class is also 12. I guess it was then the number grew on me. Even during my GCE O levels (a national examination in Singapore), I also scored 12 points which is not really good but not too shabby too.
In the end, now, I see 12 as a very important number to my life, and I always get the number 12 as a form of good luck.
What are you talking about, now you can user your awesome bulletproof cyborg leg to break everyone else’s legs!

Winning? Are you joking? I will be very amused if we don’t get kicked out by this round or something. We don’t really advertise, and I think the whole point of the AniBlog tournament is truly to expose new blogs out there. So, there’s no real need for us to go into crazy mode and advertise big time.
And you mean you never watched 5 centimeters per second? What a travesty! YOU GO WATCH IT NOW!
I’m really looking forward to some new writers, as well. I hope it won’t be too tough making the choices, what with so many entries! I can’t wait to see some talented new writers.

ZOMG Byousoku 5 Centimeters. It was my first Shinkai Makoto movie I saw…and as we know, we should always cherish our first. (Though Place Promised was better IMO…)
Anyways, shouldn’t 13 be your lucky number? I mean, with 13sugars and all…just saying…
Really, the first one I watched was Voices of a distant star. I found myself crying my guts out because I was in a long distance relationship with my current wife (still is, but soon not) and it resonated with me a lot. You know, the whole fact that you can hear the person, you can see the person but you cannot touch her or console her by giving her a hug. It’s sad.
Also, on the lucky 13 number, what are you talking about? I am stuck being her husband and being tortured by her every single day, obviously she’s BAD LUCK!

Wow, that really must have struck close to home. I really couldn’t imagine waiting years on end for a text from the one I love. I’m sure that you were able to communicate with your current wife over skype, but a lack of face-to-face human interaction must have been hard. Still, I commend you and 13sugars for being able to keep such a relationship going; it’s the sign of a long and fruitful relationship.
(Speaking of sad, though, I thought that the end of Byousoku 5 Centimeters was bittersweet, which I actually liked.)
And just to show you that my point is right–that is, 13 ins your lucky number–your response to my comment was the 13th comment on the post! (Disregard the chainsaw part. XD)
