At first all I saw of the Title was Most Erotic Phone Conversation Ever and the first thing I thought of was The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle. One of the weirdest intro’s to a book I’ve read.
Conversation between Toru and that weird girl? I haven’t finished that book, like a whole bunch of others.
Its all good I never finished it either. Lost interest a few chapters in to it for some reason. It was weird though because that doesn’t usually happen with books by Haruki Murakami to me.
I actually only manage to skim through his books. I am more of a non-fiction book lover, reading about random topics across the world. In fact, I do not understand his vision when he writes, despite being such an acclaimed author. My guess is that I do not have the intrinsic ability to understand the book on a deeper context than it should have been.
That is crazy talk you have there, Impz. I supposed you’re talking about Sony Ericsson phones, or other types of phones?
If it’s the former, then I can share with 13sugars’ fustration: I have the same troubles with it (albeit to a less extent). You need to nudge the contacts a bit in order to get a solid grip, and even so, the bliss is temporary, as the charger will inexplicably cut off.
I suggest getting a new mobile phone already: most have shelf lives of half-a-year, going on by the maximum number of months an Apple iPhone continues on functioning w/o breaking down.
Oh btw, how’s both of your honeymoon?
Yes, It’s sony ericsson. It seems that something is stuck inside the phone, and she has no clue whatsoever how to get it out. Time to buy a new mobile phone X_X;;;. That also means more money to be spent. Sigh. I personally used to have a Sony Ericsson with the old type of connector. It totally sucks. Thank god my sony ericsson vivaz is a microusb connector.
You know what is the crazy thing about it? We didn’t even intend to write it that way. It just turns out like that in the Yahoo IM. She’s still out there, and coming over soon to Singapore. We did have a nice honeymoon though
MY MIND RECOILS IN HORROR…
Unintended sexting aside, I have long given on Nokia and their sheer bloody minded insistence on using the Pop-port (similar to Sony Ericsson Fastport) connectors, the metal pins in my old N73 never made good electrical contact, and sometimes some twisting or use of a pencil was involved to get it to work. My current phone is from that fruit company, but I used a plug I had from an older iPod to prevent dust from entering.
I actually realize that very late in my mobile owning life. I had this old mobile phone, the T650i from Sony Ericsson. It was a pretty phone for sure, but 6 months down the road, the charger JUST. WON’T. CHARGE. I have to spend 10-15 minutes fidgeting and playing with the battery connector just so that it can make good electrical contact. Honestly, someone should just device something easy enough, so once you jam it in, it connects perfectly fine.
Thank god my microusb connector now for Vivaz is as easy as it can be. Still, I only have the mobile phone for 1 month plus. Still lots of time for it to fail
True, since I’m using a Sony Ericsson phone as well Impz. I remembered using another Walkman phone two years back having to adjust the charger just for my phone to charge. I even have to check on my phone to see if it’s charging as a precaution the charger stopped charging power to my phone.
I’m using a different Walkman phone (The old one kind of shut itself down and never came back to power again, have no idea what happened to it. Definitely not me pressing stupid buttons.) but it keeps shutting down while I’m in the midst of SMSing my friends. Yeah, sometimes using Sony Ericsson phones can be frustrating especially when it keeps shutting itself down for no apparent reason. Good thing my phone plans end in a few months time; it’s time for me to change a new one WITHOUT shutting itself down at critical times.
Ah, the wonders of married life.

Sometimes I’ll listen to people’s conversations, and relate everything they say to sex. Basically, I pretend that they’re talking about sex, and if you’ve ever done this, then you know it’s the funniest things ever, especcially when you’re working on a tent and he keeps saying things like, “Shove it in. Just pound it in on an angle.” [referring to a stake].
Ya. actually I didn’t realize how wrong our exchanges were until she pointed it out. After that, I had a very huge face-palm.jpg moment. Honestly though, it is really amusing how you can sexualize something simply due to the fact that there’s no other way to describe it. I mean, if you read it without any tinted eyes, it is a very normal conversation between a husband and a wife ~_~
