Kuuko may have arrived last episode but she is making her presence felt in this one. I have to say it was a HAWT episode in general, and steaming HAWT in places. I just love how they are jamming in every ounce of fun that they can get I just wish Mahiro would heed the Call of Nyarlathotep and allow her to call him Nii-nii for the rest of the show. Shantak-kun might be useless in a fight but it is a most useful pet that provides it’s divine mistress ample tribute. Others have already pointed it out, but I love how Kuuko is essentially play the same game that Nyaruko is playing. Nyaruko is even quoting Mahiro in her attempts to ward off Kuuko’ spirited advances.
Kuuko may have been a NEET but now that she is working with Nyaruko I have to commend her for making a positive change in her life. Besides it is better that Kuuko spends her days chasing Nyaruko instead of just playing MMOs. Kuuko might not be getting that much love from Nyaruko but I admire Kuuk’s dogged determination. From declaring Nyaruko as her waifu, locker room skinship, kindergarten promise, marriage by Tamao, and gift wrapping herself, Kuuko has gone above and beyond. I hope that her persistence will pay some dividends as it would be most unfortunate if Kuuko never gets any love from Nyaruko. Nevertheless all is fair in love and war and Kuuko was able to leverage her cake so that Nyaruko would have to feed her a home cooked meal. There isn’t much in the way of yuri this season and I am glad that Kuuko is going to be very physical in her yuri courtship of Nyaruko.
Nyaruko’s real brother sure got the short end of the stick however given his choice of clothing it is likely that the poor and dread reputation of Nyarlathoteps is due in part to him. It is a sad tale that he is comparing himself to his superior younger sister and has hit rock bottom. Where once he was the bringer of doom he is now a panty thief that is one the run. Still Nyaruko is just that awesome and she captured him without knowing it.
Nyaruko’s occupation of the Yasaka household is likely to continue but I wonder how Mahiro is going to explain how they have two new cousins in the house. I will not fear though since between Nyaruko and Kuuko they should have enough divine powers of persuasion to stave off eviction. The circle is nearly complete and it will be interesting to see how the next divine student is going make an entrance.

Ambushing Nyarko in the infirmary was a top notch move. And the bondage gift wrap was the cherry on top.
Kuuko was simply divine I hope she has more baby making schemes that are increasingly awesome.
This series isn’t high art, but it is hilarious. They go for the “joke a second” approach with 1000 references per episode. For 4 episodes, it’s working pretty well.
I just hope they don’t go for a plot and we get something like a monster per week/2 weeks. It’ll work better.
It just needs to be funny that is all I want from it. It’s Xebec they aren’t Satelight or Sunrise when it comes to animation. Besides Nyaruko and Kuuko look divine even if the nightgaunts get the shaft.
