It’s the sports festival at Sainan High and Rito is eager to impress his crush, Haruna with his efforts. However, due to several mishaps, he becomes depressed thinking that the girl he likes the most, hates his guts. Meanwhile, Saki challenges Lala to show who is superior and stops at nothing to prove it.

A mysterious man from space comes crashing down to Earth in search for Lala. The peculiar thing about this guy is his strange outfit and his ability to fly with the power of his rocket suit. We are also introduced to Mikado-sensei, a doctor of all people so to speak.

More character introduction episodes. This time we get a chance to meet Kotegawa Yui, a female student of high morals and principles. Getting the students to act to her will is no problem for her until she meets Lala and Rito.

This episode mostly introduces Ren, Lala’s childhood friend who she used to always make fun of for being a crybaby. Ren goes on a journey of sorts to become more manly to win over Lala due to a “promise” that was made back when they were children. I wasn’t really impressed with this episode really. [...]
