I seem to be in a furry wavelenght lately. And now I present you the latest addition to that list: Catman. In a city filled with anthropomorphic cat-people, Catman lives free of rules and boundaries, doing everything he wants, which often collides with the other iinhabitants of the city.
Catman dares to be bold: it’s made in Flasn, which is rarely seen nowadays; there are no spoken dialogues but instead is subbed in Japanese and English and has a original soundtrack made in purpose for the series.
Catman’s 3rd serie will finaly be aired on TV, and you can see already those episodes at Catman’s home page, alongside with the older episodes of season 1 and 2.
Don’t forget you can see the trailer for the third season by simply clicking the image above.

Interesting indeed. I’m normally not interested in flash but this sure caught my attention with its style.
LOL!
Dogman? InuYasha?
BATMAN!? @_@;
is this thing considered as licensed or what? it’s kind of cute
The soundtrack was not made in purpose for the series! Most of the tunes played during catman are done by the planet smashers or rancid being both a fan of each band and of catman. So next time you go shooting your mouth off do your research!
In fact one of the more famous tunes from catman is “blind” by the planet smashers, where the band uses an entire scene from catman for their official music video, with permission from the creators of catman of course. the reason a japanese flash cartoon uses music like this is because bands like this have really huge followings in japan much like “death from above 1979″ (who has had the biggest success out of any north american band in japan)
I do know this cause I get out and get cultured instead of watching cartoons all the time, and posting false facts on a disscussion board!
This has a really nice atmosphere, humorous and dark but lively. It’s also fun to see all these Montreal (Québec) scenes, streets and roofs, etc.
